Nice place, quiet and the pool is relaxing. I appreciated the drinking water cooler in the room. Staff were nice and accomodating but sometimes disorganised, it seemed the manager was frequently out which slowed some requests. The food is quite bad: cold toast, nasi goreng with pepper (?), yellow orange juice from concentrate. The sunset fishing cruise they organised for us lasted half the advertised time and we just did circles in jemeluk bay. Not great value. Not a bad experience but will stay somewhere else next time in Amed.

The room was large and clean. The breakfast was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that no one was able to get in touch with the management so that we could change our booking.

Good option about 1km from Jemeluk
A pleasant stay, nice quiet and fairly new rooms, AC worked really well, plenty of hot water. Clean and pretty pool area and good breakfast. Staff all very friendly and eager to help. Only nuisance were the many mosquitoes. Easily solved though: the shop next door had an electric mosquito killer for just 12k IDR. If the hotel wants to improve something: supply one of them for each room :-) Note: the location on the map is shown wrong. If you have your own transport like us, no problem, otherwise you might want something more central.

Nice place but...
The actual room and overall hotel are quite nice. Has everything you want (A/C, fridge, TV, pool etc). Surroundings are really beautiful (especially behind the pool). Staff is friendly. My only complaint is that the hotel isn't located where it shows on the Hotel's.com app and website. It's actually 2.6 km East of that spot in a more rural area (and a 50,000 r cab ride away as I soon discovered). There are still restaurants and dive shops in walking distance, just not as many. Although I was mad at bring duped at first, overall it's still a great hotel and good value for the money). There's a convenience store right beside it which also helped.

Good place for budget Balinese home stay feel
The place was as advertised. You will get a truly Balinese home stay experience. We were 4 people so they gave us the topmost suite. The suite had vintage furtnure which we really liked as it gave us a very different field. However, there are some things that we didn’t enjoy like the fact that there was just 1 power outlet in the unit and it was in the kitchen! The bathroom wasn’t clean when we arrived. The staff are amazing. They took care of the cleanliness issue as soon as we told them. They were also kind to us and offered scooters at a nominal rate. The location is also very good. Just a 5 minute walk and you are in the heart of Ubud.

The hotel could look better but great breakfast !
Sure the hotel was great 10 or 20 years ago but looks old and "tired" now... a lot of things could be fixed and have a better look.. People were working on a building next door so pretty noisy.. the restaurant is soooo expensive, we took the included breakfast (hopefully because 150.000r/person, it's not our budget, 74.000 for a Bintang + taxes either by the way lol) and it was huge and great ! Very kind staff, 3 swimming pools.. sea view but unfortunately no sand just rocks so you don't want to go outside for a swim :-/ we had the feeling to be alone in the big hotel which was pretty sad..

Dear Sophie, I am not sure you are talking about our hotel or maybe other hotel? I got the impression that what you mention above is not really abut our hotel as we do not sell breakfast for 150.000r and our Bintang is half of the price you mention. And for sure do not have 3 swimming pools and sea view. It is sound like a 5 star hotel you stay before or maybe after you were staying with us. However, thank you for your review. We appreciated very much.

My goal was to do nothing and work on a few personal projects. The hotel was perfect for that. (In fact I stayed one week longer than planned). Good food and selection for breakfast. Lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Staff was attentive and accommodating. Internet connection was spotty at times.(but then, I was using it a lot)..

Great little hotel in a cute area
We spent a few days here and were very impressed with the service. All the staff from the front desk to the cleaners and waiters were so friendly and helpful. After staying in the Kuta beach area this was a very nice escape, mich quieter and relaxing. Great snorkeling and diving options are nearby and the staff can set you up with whatever you need.

Pleasant hote,l a little out of the way.
Pleasant hotel, not on beach, currently has beach access but most likely this will be cut off with another beachfront development. Cleanliness not the best particularly the bathroom. Stains, watermarks and soap scum present, clearly not helped by the non glazed tile finish. No refrigerator and room is quite small. Maintenance shows lack of attention, crack in walls and repaint of entire premises required. Staff pleasant.and at the prices offered at the time of travel excellent value. For those without transport it is a long walk to most places although there is a shop next door that is handy.

I booked this hotel for two nights,stayed one night,this hotel is definitely not as advertised, the bar and restaurant have been closed due to lack of support.After riding from Kuta I was so tired that I decided to stay , the door did not lock and there was no safe,I told the manager and he said it was safe to leave valuables in the room,even though the door didn't close properly, there is no fridge in the room ,cups but no kettle, bathroom is filthy, that evening the young drunks started drinking at the pool and went on for about five hours, there was no one to complain to as there is no security at this place, in the morning 7 am as I was leaving there were drunks laying about the pool covered with towels, they have misled Expedia about this property, it is really a backpackers.

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review. But allow us to clarify some of issues that you mentioned: 1. I am the manager and never have been spoken with you about the whole situation since I was away for marketing at that time. If you asked for me, I am sure the staff will call and at least we can clarify all this via phone. 2. Door lock, if any trouble you should inform our staff to explain how it is work. We do find some people do not understand how to operate this door lock. 3. Safe, we do have safe box for valuable in the room at the back of the front office desk. 4. Electric kettle and fridge, this is our staff lack of service. They were taken out as they were broken by previous guest. Our staff should've been told you. Please apologise us for this issue. 5. Guests drinking by the pool. Sometimes our staff have difficulties with this kind of guests. Our staff always remain this kind of guests to stop after 10PM but sometimes they ignore it. However, there were no complain from other guests about it at that time. 6. Staff. We had three staff in charge at the hotel at that time and we had no problem when guest check in at 2 AM that day. 7. Restaurant. Our restaurant and bar open daily from 7:30Am until 10PM. Info from night staff, you came to the restaurant and asked for breakfast at 6:30 AM but didn't make a reservation in advance so we had no restaurant staff yet. 8. I think your expectation is too high for a 20 bucks room per night! We had two other rooms from Expedia at the same period but no complain about the hotel itself, only the location out of town. Great little hotel, outstanding service.
This is a newer property, with big, well appointed rooms. Very clean, with outstanding service. Staff arranged motorbike rental (and even gas when I run out!). Great views of the mountains (under-marketed in the description of the property). Very nice pool with towels, shade, lounges, etc. Breakfast next to pool in the morning was very peaceful and great way to start the day! Balconies and patios very nice. I would recommend paying the few extra IDR for the second floor rooms. Wifi is great all over the property. Takeaways: not in the heart of Amed, AC is sufficient when on MAX the whole time. No refrigerator, this would be a welcomed addition for water and soft drinks. I would definitely stay there again, IMO a GREAT value.

You get a lot for what you pay
it was very enjoyable. i highly recommend it. the staff is very friendly. Abe the manager and Made are awesome and try very hard to help in any way possible. No safe but a lockable closet is available. Renting a motorbike is the best way to get around. Also the Galanga, the best restaurant in Amed is just around the corner.

First they didn't know I booked the place. Then I got room no 2 and the bathroom smelled so bad, I left all windows open. I gave it a chance. Me and my son were outside but there's not much to do, so I rented a scooter and went to the beach. Not possible to walk. The second morning I had to pay for breakfast? Plus breakfast was almost nothing. After an hour you're hungry again. I stayed shorter because the smell of the bathroom was so bad. Left the place then they wanted me to pay again for the scooter, don't think so. If you're going to dive for a few days then you can book the place. There's no gojek or grab. You depend on their cab driver who will charge you 3 times more than gojek would do

Super hôtel simple et très confortable ++
Nous avons passés 4 nuits en octobre 2018, l'hôtel est simple et très agréable avec un personnel jeune et très sympathique, Madhi est toujours prêt à faire le maximum pour que le séjour se passe bien, merci beaucoup Madhi. Il vous faudra louer un scooter (3€/j)l'hôtel est excentré ne vous affolez pas les gens roulent cool.

Schönes kleines Hotel!
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, es gibt einen Roller und Schnorchel- Verleih. Das Zimmer war geräumig und schön. Etwas negativ ist, dass wir eigentlich ein Zimmer mit Küche gebucht hatten, welches dann nicht verfügbar war. Falls Sie es buchen wollen, es ist es auch nicht wert... Wie schon in einigen Bewertungen steht riecht es unangenehm aus dem Abfluss im Bad.

L'accueil est plutôt bon avec un jus frais. Après nous avoir installé dans une chambre qui ne fermait pas on est relogé à l'étage. La chambre est spacieuse et plutôt propre. La SdB est rustique et les équipements (barre sèche serviette et robinetterie) sont dans un état catastrophique. La pomme de douche arrose autant le reste de la SdB que vous... La nuit a été calme. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter de la piscine, nous avons préféré profiter de la plage, pour accéder y accéder vous aurez besoin d'un véhicule ou vous êtes quitte pour une bonne marche. Pas de restaurant sur place sauf pour le petit déjeuner.

Nice hotel on the best spot in Amed!
Very tood location! Close to all dives and snorkling experiences, close to the boat to Gili, sunset point restaurant and more. Very nice and calm hotel, good breakfast. Would recommend this to all who want to go to Amed for 2-3days!

very good hôtel close to jemeluk's beach
The 3 days we spent in this hotel were just great! The hôtel is knew everything is clean and beautiful. The staff does all to make you feel good, they are realy great! The room is big and pleasant. The swimming pool was so great for the children. Only problem, we were a bit far from the beaches. By the way the localisation on the plan isn't correct, the hôtel is on the east of jemeluk beach (20' walking from this beach). It's been the greatest hôtel of our trip, we all agree about that!!!

Fint hotell. Ganska så nyöppnat så det var vissa saker man kanske kunde sakna i rummen som till exempel en byrå eller någon annan typ av förvaring för att slippa bo i väskan. Men överlag ett bra ställe och jag skulle nog bo här igen om jag är i närheten. Personalen var jättetrevliga och hjälpsamma.
