"It was an amazing experience at Prince Kyoto. The view from the room was breath taking. It’s one of the best experiences I have had staying at this hotel. The staff was extremely polite and went above and beyond to help. We enjoyed their hospitality and kindness. Love to stay here again in future."

"This is a basic type of stay. But the hotel is convenient to the train station. The way is well lit and safe. The room and bed are comfortable and quiet, even on the railway side of the building. I do not eat their breakfast, but it does look good."

The hotel's reception area is situated on the fourth floor, and parking is available in a separate building, which may be inconvenient for guests with a significant amount of luggage. Despite this, the hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering amenities such as a coin-operated laundry, ice machine, and complimentary coffee.

I loved this hotel for the fact that it has a filtered water dispenser which saved us money from buying mineral water from the 7-ll right opposite it.
The public bath was also well stocked with make up remover, face cleansing and bath toiletries.
Twin Beds were super single, and room size considered big.
My only grouse would be that the pillows were so flat and uncomfortable that even 2 couldnt make up for support

Staff are super helpful and friendly. Helped us in many ways eg. Directions, shipping of luggage, book taxi and etc.
Rooms are very clean.
Everything is sufficient except there’s no telephone in the bedrooms.
Location: Quiet neighbourhood, no traffic noise. We love it.
Thank you to: Anne, Sylvia, young girl (Sri Lankan) and a Japanese young man.

Hotel is at a very convenient location to both Sanjo and Sanjo-Keihan stations. Short walk to some attractions, about 10 mins to Gion and 15 mins to main shopping street/market. Breakfast has decent variety but does not change much over the days. Staff and service were excellent especially Mr Azuma and Kunieda. I left a bag behind upon check out and they very kindly and efficiently helped me arrange delivery to my next destination! I am most grateful! Thank you again!

The place is conveniently located with many dining options nearby. It is also walking distance of about 5min to Kyoto Imperial Garden and 15min walk to Nishiki market.
The rooms that we were given had frosted windows and it felt a little claustrophobic. For the price paid, I think it is a little under value for money. But perhaps this is because it is Kyoto where things are more expensive compared to Osaka?
The housekeeping can be better as I could see leftover band-aids under the beds. But...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the lobby itself, the light installation, even at the stairs was so pretty the staff were all very friendly and polite and very helpful as well. Property is gorgeous the room is clean and well maintained. The location is amazing just at the train station. Only downside I would say about this is I wish this hotel had a pool. Very grateful for the staff that they helped to prepare baby ingredients to prepare his food.
