We enjoyed our stay at Heritage Lodge. For the price, it was a great! The climb up (stairs + elevator) the hotel was not bad at all as we mostly came back when the sun is down. The staff are really nice! Location was good. Would stay here again if we were to visit HK in future!

The environment is good and silent.
Staff is great and helpful.
But the water pressure of shower is unstable, and the walls are very thin. Late at night, I can clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, even had somebody sang loudly at 2am, making it difficult to sleep peacefully.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, comfortable bed. Just a short walk from Mei Foo MRT station, and easy to get to once you know which set of stairs is the fastest route. Water pressure was lacking a little but the shower did get nice and hot.
Breakfast and coffee at the cafe was good. Unfortunately they don’t take credit cards, so you’ll need cash or an Octopus.
My only complaints would be that the window didn’t open so there was no way to get fresh air, and that we could hear a little too much from nearby rooms and their overnight activities.

The location is a walkable distance from Mei Foo MTR. The surrounding atmosphere is great as it is hard to find a peaceful hotel in the city.

A lovely quiet place to escape from the crowded city. A bit of walking if you take MTR but is accessible by public buses. Spacious room, clean and well preserved historical building.

Really nice hotel with rich history and modern cozy rooms. The only downside was that we hadn’t read properly that if you don’t take a taxi up it’s a lot of stairs. With two children this wasn’t ideal, but we do not blame the property but think it is good to know. We also appreciated that self laundry facilities.

The environment is quiet and comfortable, with a strong artistic atmosphere and convenient transportation. The bus and subway stations are nearby, and the shopping mall is relatively close. The cost-effectiveness is high, but the only drawback is that the accommodation is located on the mountain and requires climbing stairs. For friends who are going to bring luggage for the first time, it is recommended to take a taxi directly to the check-in area.

Comfortable and beautiful, but be ready to climb stairs! This place is located on an unusually high ridge in HK. They have more than one building on the ridge, with staircases between them.
As properties go in HK, this one is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is through a partnership with a small restaurant half way down the ridge by stairs. The food was fantastic. But be prepared to climb lots of steps to get back to your room!
The only reasons for 4 stars are:
- Low Water Pressure: The bathroom is outfitted with an excellent massaging-style shower head. Unfortunately, the water pressure is so low that the massage feature doesn't work. It is also difficult to get water to stream away from the wall far enough to get your body wet without bumping the valve and shutting off the water!
- Incomprehensible heating/cooling system. Maybe it's just a cooling system, but when it's 12C (53F), it'd be nice to get some warm air into the room, but all I could get was cold air. There was something written on the thermostat, but it was in Chinese without an English translation.

The surrounding environment is quiet. The housekeeping was somewhat adequate. The water pressure from the shower stall needed to be updated.

Cost effective, two storey houses instead of high rise.
