This is well worth the visit and is so well maintained. Kranji War Cemetery is 22 kilometres north of the city of Singapore, on the north side of Singapore Island overlooking the Straits of Johore. It is located just to the West of the Singapore-Johore road (Bukit Timah Expressway) on Woodlands Road, just to the south of the crossroads with Turf Club Avenue and Kranji Road. There is a short approach road from the main road. The Cemetery is known locally as Kranji Memorial and one must be sure of the address before boarding a taxi as most taxi drivers do not know the Cemetery. There are also bus stops on the main road facing the Cemetery. The Kranji MRT (train) terminal is a short distance from the Cemetery, approximately 10 to 15 minutes away by foot. A previous visitor has advised us that a small map of the route can be obtained from the MRT ticket office.

"Room was big with a desk and a queen bed and large tv, had a tub with hot water to relax from a long travel, the bed was soft as well as the pillows and linen. Free water was available in the gym that was nice also and the aircon was on when i entered the room so that was a plus for me. The rooftop had a nice pool and a bar with two nice gentlemen waiting to serve you. I had a nice welcoming at the front desk also the cleaning personal were helpful and friendly you get free shuttle bus service...

"The hotel is clean, washroom is clean. Staff are very friendly. Location is great for me near Maxwell MRT Station, near Chinatown and near Maxwell Food Center which is one of the Hawker Food Center in Singapore. Condiments on the fridge are free during our stay and they re-stock the fridge when you have the room cleaned. "Really enjoyed our stay over the 3 days. Room which was on the 13th floor was spotless and immacultely cleaned every day ( if you wanted it cleaned every day ). Everyone from the reception staff to the room housekeeping staff were always polite and courteous. The pool was quiet for the most part, so plenty of loungers to be had. Would def recommend.
