"Perfect stay for our anniversary, they held our bags as we checked in early and showed us to the hotspring and spa facilities. There were indoor and outdoor springs with sauna and steam room in an onsen style setting. Our room had its own hotspring tub. We received a bottle of wine as a courtesy along with assorted bon bons. "Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the hot spring every day. A highlight was being allowed to use the hot spring even after checkout — it was a lovely touch to freshen up before heading to the airport. One small suggestion: when we first entered the room, it wasn't immediately clear how to turn on the lights. We had to use our phone flashlight (so dark) to discover that the key card needed to be inserted into a slot to activate them. A small sign or note near the door would be very helpful for first-time guests."

"I had a great stay at the Hotel Royal Beitou. The hotel is a short walk from the metro, the property is well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly. It's an easy walk to Beitou Park, and in the evening I enjoyed relaxing in a comfortable and clean room with my personal soaking tub with hot natural spring water. I will book again when returning to Beitou!"

"It is a vey nice hotel. The only thing I do not understand is why the last entry for the breakfast is 9:00am. That is very unusual while we can stay inside the restaurant until 10:00am. The 9:00am is a bit early for those who are on vacation especially Taipei is full of night activities. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hot spring available inside the room is nice especially if you love to lie down in the bathtub to enjoy the moment of relaxation."
