"Staff was incredible and extremely courteous and helpful. I recommend this resort, especially during winter season, it still offers a wonderful view of the City, even in the fog and rain. I also recommend more than a night's stay, so you can try the different breakfast styles, restaurants, or take the shuttle into xinbeitou to experience local Taiwanese markets. "My girlfriend and I stayed for our first two nights in Taiwan at The Gaia Hotel and we had a very relaxing time. The staff is amazing and very attentive, the facilities are great and clean and the rooms are very nice. We loved that the hot spring water was piped into a tub in our bathroom for our own private soak. It’s very conveniently located and there’s many little food spots within walking distance or a short uber ride. Also within walking distance is a nice park and library. Definitely...

"The property is well-maintained and quiet. Thermal valley is only 15 minutes walk away. Ferry bus service to Beitou station is every 30 minutes which is very well-thought. 👍👍👍"

"Wonderful hotel for enjoying the Beitou hot sulphur springs experience. Modern Japanese style rooms have views overlooking Beitou Park. Hotel hot pools were elegant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Included breakfast tasty. Short 5 minute walk to Thermal Valley, Hot Springs Museum, and Beitou Library. Best part is the large sulphur spring bath in each room."

"The front desk staff was very helpful in getting me information to catch a bus as High Speed Train tickets were sold out! Enjoyed the comfortable bed, and the coffee and water options. I did find food okay for breakfast buffet and also the lounge. I wish they included more sandwiches. Overall, I would come back again to this Marriott property"

"Enjoyed our stay, although the weather did not co-operate. The staff was great, especially Ankor. He was very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and made our stay very nice. Hot springs were good, but not hot enough for me. Good free shuttle to MRT station, close to shopping & restaurants. Schedule was very good for all the different times to use it, to go and return. Hard to walk as very hilly."
