Great overall experience and value for money. Helpful staff on hand to assist. The sofa bed in the living room is not the most comfortable to sit on + metal parts were exposed near the back so you couldn’t comfortably sit back.

Airton (sp) at the desk was so nice to us. Thank you. He was extremely helpful. Very kind. The mattress needs to be changed. I could feel the springs pushing through.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice & spacious apartment. Very clean. Straightforward to check in & out, with helpful colleagues. Good location. We needed a place for 3 adults so rather than rent 2 rooms this was a great option. Would definitely return.

Marlin Apartments provides all the ammenities traveling families need to have the comfort of home. The aldgate location is at the border of the city of London and walking distance to the Tower Bridge, and easy access to District and Elizabeth train lines. The dining options are nearby in Spitafield about a 10 miniute walk.

The property is in poor condition. Booked 2 apartments there for the travel group. One was in such bad condition with soiled sheets, stained furniture and dirty bathroom that group went to a different hotel. Still waiting on a refund, but there is a lack of response from the property. I would not book an apartment here!

This aparthotel was clean, bed was comfortable and it was an adequate base to explore London for a week, close to several Tube stations and the Elizabeth line for Heathrow. The website suite pictures are somewhat misleading.

Really not a great stay. Booked three nights. Very tired property, room lock felt loose and not secure, bed was uncomfortable, kitchen had previous occupants left over food suggesting the place hadnt been properly cleaned, shower was weak and the location was filthy and felt unsafe after dark. Overall, the property is in a terrible state of repair and not a restful place to stay at all.

Don’t waste your money. It’s pathetic apartment
Hello, I stayed here along with my family and the experience was terrible. This apartments don’t know the meaning of cleaning and it was in pathetic condition. There are marks all over the mattresses, bedsheets and full of dust for fan which they have given us. We have complained in the same day but they said they don’t have cleaners so can’t do anything at that point of time. I wish we get our money back because we paid a lot of money for such a poor condition apartment.

Lovely from start to finish.. Azong size for a London apartment and a great price Staff very friendly and just leave you to it once checked in... I reported a broken light switch on day one which was fixed promptly Once of the comfiest beds I've ever stayed in Very close to Aldgate East Station Overall 10/10 can't really fault it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great spot to stay while visiting London. The apartment was modern, clean, and appointed very well. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Would definitely use this accommodation again next time we’re in London.

A great stay overall with a bit of disappointment
In overall, our stay was 4 out of 5. Location-wise, it was good as the apartment was not surrounded by busy roads. The TV is big enough and the big balcony allow us to have much fresh air blowing in. The kitchen was big enough and well equipped. However, there are things that are frankly not good during our stay. For example, a metal part in the bathroom was very loose before we even used the bathroom and it fell out when we are using it and caused a bruise on one of my family members. This is definitely not an ideal experience at all. Other than that, the sofa bed that we have pre-booked isn’t really that comfortable as there are parts in the sofa bed that people would easily bump into it when sleeping. Last but not least, I think the kitchen would be perfect if there was a spatula in it.

Great for Families
Our family had a pleasant stay at this apartment. The two bathrooms were very helpful with 5 people. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. And the location was very convenient. It was a short walk to the tube and only about a 10 minute walk to Tower of London. The apartment did get a little warm during the day without air conditioning, but it helped to crack the windows. And it cooled off sufficiently during the evening.

The gentleman at the check-in desk was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. He even upgraded our room for a double bedroom because housekeeping had already left for the day and the sofa bed wasn't made. He also recommended a great Indian restaurant that was open after midnight since our check-in was so late.

Avoid at all costs
This place (cannot call it a hotel) as absolutely dire. The pictures and words used to advertise it are by no means a reflection of the current state. Starting from the first impression at reception (sticky counter, goods on pallets standing around, water in the corridor (H&S issue), it continues through the corridors and elevators (both show heavy use and could do with painting; there is a noxious smell everywhere), and culminates to the apartment itself. Scratched everywhere from floor to furniture, electrical wiring held up with sticky tape, windows that look as though they were never cleaned since the building saw the light of day, lumpy beds etc etc. But what really takes the biscuit is the absolutely inflexible stance from management when it comes to a refund. Payment is quickly taken upon arrival but when the service rendered does not correspond to the service delivered, they quickly hide behind corporate policy. Even if there is no space anywhere else in the city, I would not recommend staying here ever. Good hotels charge the same for a better service.

The apartment was clean, spacious and well outfitted. Wish we had known about parking in London so we could have reserved a spot near the hotel. Staff were friendly. Area seemed a bit sketchy but still safe. Nice walk to tower bridge. Would stay again.

The building (elevator, hallways, main lobby) has issues with cleanness and maintenance. The apartment was clean, but very uncomfortable smell in the kitchen and dinning area. Didn’t get help solving the smell and did not get the option to have a apartment change.

Good location fine for a short stay
We only stayed one night so was fine for what we needed and didn’t spend much time in the apt. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms. The floors weren’t clean and the blind was missing in the main living area but we used the sofa bed so it would have been better to have it to block the light in the morning. Great location
