The Grand at Trafalgar Square

"The location is fantastic, an impressive main entrance reception area. The bar restaurant area is fantastic and so were the staff. The room was disappointing, no safe, no extractor fan for the bathroom and the bathroom door lock was broken. The toilet failed to flush first go which was annoying especially considering the price tag. Breakfast eggs both fried and scrambled were cold both mornings. The bar meal was top drawer - we enjoyed that. Generally it was a nice stay."

"A lovely clean hotel, room were very nice. Friendly staff, one of the porters that we saw a few times called Vijay went over & beyond to help & was so friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel and we've stayed all over the world. The only one thing I would say been a celiac is the gluten free bread is not great, you can get better and I've had better at a hotel but they did have an option that I saw on the second morning a gluten free roll, which I wasn't offered the first morning. So you do need to ask. We would definitely stay there again and do like Riu hotels. The hotel is close to the Thames river and you can walk everywhere if you are able. It's a great location for sightseeing."

"Really good you have to pay for any extras like towels, it's just a bed duvet pillow but it's cheap, and in central London so that's to be expected. Staff were really friendly and helpful, as quiet as most hotels but still worth having earplugs. Bring your own padlock they're not provided, basic ones can be sourced nearby at boots but they aren't great quality."

"Best pod hotel we have stayed in! So clean, the bathrooms are beautiful and had underfloor heating! Towels were provided and you could rent more if you wanted. Each pod had its own control over air conditioning, lovely lighting and much more secure than any other pod hotel I’ve stayed in! The staff were all very friendly too!! Bonus area to sit in and work or just chill as well as coffee machine; vending machine with champagne, beers snacks and drinks! We will absolutely be returning!!!"

"The hotel is lovely as are the staff, but unfortunately the elevator was broken for the duration of my stay (one night). The staff helped carry my bags up to the fourth floor. They were very good sports, but they shouldn’t have had to deal with that. Location is smack in the middle of everything, really handy if you’re a tourist. My room (single king) was quite small, which was fine for one night, but would have been tough if I was there for an extended time and/or had to work."

"The hotel is very nice andxa great location for sight seeing, close to the tube and buses, Also great for theatres galleries and restaurants all walking distances. The room was clean and functional however very basic. No tea/coffee making facilities. The shower was good very hot and good pressure, but no toilet brush which would b helpful. Also no fan in the bathroom so very hot, an aircon unit in the room which wasnt very good, room extremely hot. Extra pillows provided which was good. We asked for more toilet rolls which did not materialise. . Staff were approachable and friendly."
