Initially the room booked was unavailable. Had to wait further 1.5 hours when insisted, and room found. Poor information on facilities. Main pool was a letdown as poorly maintained. Ran out of towels with only a note to call services but no phone to call, and no manned station or lifeguard. Housekeeping poor. Towels taken but not replaced. Cups not washed and hair dryer not returned to drawer. When I complained a man turned up at door insisting to come in to tidy but I didn’t want him to as I was alone and he stood there for a while with a rather unpleasant expression. Other staff though were excellent, Thomas at reception and Loges at concierge to mention a few.

Extremely high quality stay. I most appreciated the quiet even with the construction of a nearby building and proximity to shops. Highly recommend this hotel.

Needs a mini bar
I have stayed here ages ago and had wonderful memories however this time around the staff could have been little bit more friendlier and the rooms definitely need a mini bar, it took me a whole to find myself sparkling water and upgrading on toiletries, as my hair didn't feel great after their signature shampoo and conditioner

Heritage haven in modern Singapore
We've stayed at GWP many times over the past decade. It's still a great hotel and a lovely place to stay but we found our room to be a little "tired", particularly the bathroom, which needs to be upgraded.

到着初日、深夜便で到着しホテルにチェックインしたのですが、予約していたのとは違うランクでベッドもツインで頼んでいたのがクイーンベッド一つの所に案内されたのでクレームを入れましたが、予約の通りだし今日はもう部屋が空いていないから変われないと言われ、次の朝すぐに変えるように対応すると言われました。 朝食を終えてフロントにもう一度確認に行くと何の申し伝えもされていなかったようで全く話が通じずまた同じように説明をしたらExpediaのミスだからこちらには非がないというような対応でした。 しかしその後このホテルをよく利用していて今回も同じタイミングで宿泊していた親戚のファミリーだと分かると、人が変わったように対応が良くなり、部屋もアップグレードしてスイートのような部屋をあてがわれました。 結果的に部屋の問題は改善されたのですが、初めの対応との差に少し違和感を感じました。 全体的には気持ちよく過ごさせていただきましたがそんなことがありましたというご報告です。

A GREAT STAY IN SINGAPRE
I had a very comfortable stay, I think the hotel is in a great location and love the gardens and pools, shopping is all very close bar and lots of cafe's and alternative restaurants. I found that the food in the hotel way too expensive for what is is.

I last visited Singapore 40 years ago and it has changed a lot. This hotel preserved the best of the "old" Singapore and was very nostalgic for me. There were a couple of minor issues (shower was cold, washing machine wasn't working) however the staff were so helpful; They found a solution immediately and repaired the issues very quickly. The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful, courteous and interesting. They made us feel like friends, not just visitors. The property was comfortable and convenient and we will definitely stay again.

I'm sure the property is a heritage and I comeback to stay at goodwood Park, because I have sweet memory with my family ( my husband , my daughter and my son) Unfortunately my lovely husband was pass away 20 months ago I really bless can comeback to stay with my daughter and my grand daughter from 16 January - 26 January 2023. It was my 2nd time staycation with my husband. The stay was relaxing. This time we got a room with balcony facing the garden and we enjoy having breakfast there during our stay listening to the birds chirping, flying across, the garden noise make by small garden beetle i guess..hope to stay there again next time.

Nice old hotel however exterior building refreshment probably overdue. Most staff were great others not so. Great hotel, discreet and without the fanfare of the Raffles.
