The Z Hotel Trafalgar

10/10 Excellent

"Super nice hotel workers and very clean property and rooms (rooms are smaller tho). Location is great - super close to shows in the West End (I even caught the West End Live free concert in Trafalgar square) and about 20-min walkable to big monuments like Big Ben and the British Museum. The reception area is pretty nice too: had a bar and you can order food for lunch and dinner for under 15 £. But I would say the hotel workers are the nicest - super amenable to requests like extra towels, utensils for food we bought outside, and they kept our bags while we walked around before our flight. The rooms are like cubicles, only room for the bed and the thin divider for toilet and shower - but efficient and the rooms even come with an electric kettle and tea for your room. The bed was pretty comfy and there is a TV in the wall with both news and entertainment channels. The AC also responds really well to changes in temperature. My only gripe is there is no personal fridge, but the rooms are smaller so it makes sense. I think this is a great hotel for either couples or single persons as the rooms are tinier, but you can just be aware of that and get a great hotel in a prime location with great service."

"First: the breakfast buffet is among the best I’ve ever had (we considered filling our water bottles with it!), the staff here are wonderfully friendly, made restaurant recommendations for Sunday roast dinner, and were all delightful every time we re-entered the property. The room was perfectly temperate, comfortable beds, chargers by both beds so I never had to pull out my converter. great amenities, hot hot shower. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Overall very great hotel/room, very clean! The only thing is that it was quite small for 2 people, we had to keep our suitcases closed and against the wall or under the bed. The shower door also has a gap at the bottom so the water can leak to the toilet area. Otherwise, the location was amazing, it's between chinatown and national gallery, and very close to the underground tube station. Another huge plus is that you can chromecast your device to the television!"

"The Z hotels are well maintained ,perfectly located and very clean. I only have 2 issues, there was only 1 toilet available in the area near to the cafe, so while waiting for room to be readied, if it was being used for changing ,then there was a long wait. Also, the signage outside the hotel is not very noticeable ,and we walked up and down Poland street several times before locating it. Apart from those 2 snails issues, the staff,rooms and overall location….Superb"
