good location-convenience and subway nearby- but thin mattress may cause backache -if replaced by thick comfortable mattress, it is appreciated- 24 hour coffee, soft drinks and ice cream are appreciated. well cleaned and nice helpful 24/7 staffs

Good location - right in the entertainment center- many 24 hour restaurants around and walking to shinjuku station… but has to pay 200 yen for 1/2 hour shower with clean towel each time. I am pleased with it.

I’d be back!
A fine capsule hotel with a fantastic Shinjuku location, you’re close to the train station, food, Golden Gai and all the action. Just watch out for the toots and hostess bar callers. Regardless of how many nights you’re staying, you’re out by 10am each day as the capsules are deep cleaned. If you’d like to bathe, be sure to have 200¥. That’ll get you 30min in the shower. I appreciated the free soda fountain, purified water and ice cream machine! They got a zillion manga, so watch out! Clean and comfortable and for a good price!

It is located in the center of Shinjuku Kabukicho. All night life is in its vicinity. The bed is two story capsule style. Lady’s floor and men’s floor are totally separated for security. The price is reasonable for the excellent location.

The location is great, close to shinjuku JR station, many restaurants and shops nearby. But it was quite hot and stuffy in the capsule, and it could get quite noisy during the night when people came in and got out. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and good for solo travellers.

They make you check in and out every time you leave the property, you have to pay to take a shower and from the time you pay for it you have 30 minutes to take it and bring the key back, and you can’t use the elevator to your room floor. Bat fun with cases. Overall the staff was nice just the policies they have make tell you to look elsewhere to stay. MyCUBE is hands down the best I’ve stayed at. Look them up instead

200 yen to shower for 30 mins, if you go over time an additional 300 yen. Staff not so friendly. Check out time was 10am, wanted to extend my stay they asked me to leave and come back at 12 for check in, couldn't leave my luggage

Great place to stay right in the heart of Shinjuku. Only thing to note is that if you are any taller than 6 feet you won’t fit in the capsule. I am 6’3 and my feet stuck out of the capsule.

Very convenient location, close to almost all you need to travel around Japan. Clean and tidy. Enough room to have good sleep, if you don’t mind smatspaces. Certainly I’ll be coming back.

Excellent stay
The staff and service was excellent. It is in a seedier area (as seedy as Tokyo can get), but it's worth it for the closeness to the Shinjuku metro station which can take you anywhere you need to go.

Nice hotel right in the middle of it all
The only thing that isn’t too great about this place is that there are no lockers and you can’t leave your bag with them after checking out. Also, check out is at 10am not 11am as Expedia states.

Great place. Fees requested for showers.
Let me start with the good thing. The place is neat, has a huge common room with mangas and computers. The location is also perfect. The capsules are super clean. What spoiled the experience is the fees for the shower. 200Yen. More than that, at morning you wake up, you have to climb 2 stairs go through the common room in pijamas in the middle of computer users who are not resident of the hotel. Pay the fee, go back to the room to take a shower. Then quickly go back to the counter to bring back a form within 30min or get a penality. The shower was in great condition. But the experience to feel relax despite of being such a nice place, is not there.

For the money, the hotel is one of the best values in capsule hotels in the Shinjuku area (I’ve stayed at several). Shower is 200 yen extra, but at least it is a private shower and clean. The capsules themselves are not as comfortable as some other higher priced capsules I’ve stayed at. The mattress is a bit thin. But if you are tired, you won’t really notice the difference. Staff is very friendly and most of them can speak at least some English, which is very helpful and appreciated. There is an Internet cafe on the 7th floor, which can be used by hotel guests. WiFi is very good. Saturday’s are often sold out but on other nights I’ve generally been able to make same-day reservations. This is my default capsule when I can get it.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and convenient location. If you're taller than 6' like I am, you might find the capsule too small. I also recommend bringing an eye mask as the curtains don't block all the light from outside.

The location is very convenient to the Shinjuku station and nearby sites. There were plenty of places to eat at. The pod gets very warm during the night, I noticed some people slept with the sliding door partially open. The pods should also be cleaned better, but the rest of the facilities were nice enough. Good for a short stay.

Close to the Station
The good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the station. If you are only staying for a night and moving on it isn't a bad option. However, the room did not seem to be cleaned very well. It wasn't terrible, but there were spots like something was spilled on the little shelf and the pillows did not have any cases on them. (I ended up using my coat as a pillow) This hotel also does not have any elevator or escalator access to the rooms. The main lobby can be reached by elevators, but you have to go downstairs to reach the rooms. There is also almost no room to store luggage. If you have large luggage, it might be a bit of a hassle. Also, all of the capsules have tv in them which normally wouldn't be bad, however these are very short capsules so having the tv takes up headspace is a bit annoying. There was also a control panel with several features (radio, alarm, etc.) But all of them seemed to be broken as they were taped over. Other than that. It was an okay place to stay for one night. I wouldn't want to spend multiple nights at this hotel. The people I was with were a bit noisy at random hours, but that tends to happen occasionally with capsules.

Smack dab in the middle of shinjuku's night life. 7 minute walk to shinjuku station. place was well kept, staff was real nice and did their best to communicate with you even though there was a language barrier. Free coffee and drinks at the receptions table, plenty of magazines, mangas to read if you're into that. I might of overbooked it (9 days), it's a great place for a short stay if you're in tokyo, shinjuku.

Okay but depends on your co-inhabitants
Your coinhabitants make all the difference at this capsule hotel. One girl on the bottom bunk under my friend sprawled all her stuff on the ground making it impossible to even get up the ladder to the bed. The bathrooms were excellent but vein girls putting their makeup on for hours made it hard to even get a sink to brush my teeth. Otherwise facilities are nice, except the fan not working in my capsule made it a sauna and very hard to sleep.

Extended Japan trip by one night and had to get quick accomodations. Great area, right along Kabukicho. Probably the newest amongst the capsule hotels available on the site, so amenities are all new. Capsule itself was hotter inside than I could have expected as I couldn't find the climate controls.

Centrally located in Kabukicho, right by the Godzilla. Only four minutes walk away from the station. Awesome lounging area to read and hang out. Free drinks and ice cream. Overall just a great experience!

Great location, clean capsules.
This place is in a great location, a short walk from the train station and in the heart of the shops, restaurants, attractions. Free ice cream, coffee, soda was a plus but they nickel and dime you on everything else. You have to pay for the shower which I found to be unnecessary for people staying there. The capsule was clean and cozy.

Upon check-in, the receptionist doesn't know that much English but they maintained good manner and prepared a page of things u may know to read. You can keep your luggage in front desk as the capsule didn't have the space for storage. I just stayed for one night, so I put 1 day clothes in my backpack to change. They do have shower room but you need to pay 200 yen each time for it.

Small but perfectly formed
We booked the capsules as we had ten hours in Tokyo before getting an overnight train. It was perfect as very close to Shinjuku Station, clean showers, decent hairdryers and toiletries. They stored our luggage and I had a snooze for a few hours. All I would say is the aircon made a bit of a whirring noise so bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

It was in the center of all happenings.
The place was clean,common shower but in a private room for myself.Reasonable prices for using the facilities,free coffee and auger regular drinks. I made me a coffee and ice cream and loved it. The simple things in life!
