I had a very nice stay at Hotel Asia Centre of Japan.
On the day I arrived I was greeted by a very welcoming and friendly lady at the reception desk who went above and beyond to accomodate my request. She made sure that everything was as smooth as possible and was ever so graceous.
Because I came and went, I slept in different rooms.
I really loved the room where I stayed the second and third night: it had a gorgeous view over Tokyo, so it felt airy and I have been happy to fall asleep and wake up there.
Only downside about the rooms is that the level of cleanliness wasn't always topnotch and rooms are a bit old.
I used the hotel washing machine twice without any issue and I participated to a free workshop organised by the hotel, which I enjoyed very much.
But the greatest thing about this hotel is their breakfast! I stayed in a few places with buffet breakfast in Japan, and they all were mediocre and disappointing. But at Hotel Asia Centre of Japan the breakfast was tasty and interesting, as well as varied and plentiful. The salad selection was great, with a variety of dressing to chose from. Custard tayaki, Japanese omelette, delicious rice with perfectly pickled umeboshi, perfect yogurt... - so lovely! The staff was also lovely, friendly and welcoming. Only downside about the breakfast room is that the aircon was a bit too strong - definitely not a big deal.
The hotel is also perfectly situated both for walking and for using public transport. Recommended.
