I had a really nice time staying here. It’s quiet and simple; You’ll feel welcome and able to explore Tokyo with this as your base.

We picked this hotel for its location. It is in walking distance to a lot of the local sites and activities and the price was reasonable. Here are some aspects that I did not like so much and why I took away stars: -unfortunately, the staff barely spoke any English (or any of the other languages I speak...). I am aware that I am in a foreign country and I typically make a valid attempt at adapting. That being said, at least that was working in the tourism industry, should be able to speak at least one other language that is. -our room was EXTREMELY small and there was virtually no storage. Again, I understand that it's Japan, but there was no drawer/closet etc. to put anything in. There was also no space where a suitcase could be fully opened except for on the bed or the hallway. We opted for the latter. -since there was no desk or work space in the room I would have at least wished for a common area in the hotel where one could sit and be one's computer for a while. Unfortunately, the only common space was the very small lobby itself with no tables/desks. Overall, the big selling points are location and price.

We arrived later than expected, but the gentleman at the desk still allowed us to use the onsen. Which was much needed after travel delays. The rooms are much smaller than western rooms but have everything you need, and they include items travelers often forget. I would stay here again for sure.

Great place but loud
People in neighboring rooms were loud and staff were quick to relocate me to another room. Place is fantastic, but relies on good neighbors.

Absolute steal at this price
Absolutely loved my stay here. Located in a cute neighborhood, and felt like a part of it by the time I finished. No laundry services, but a good coin op one next door. No food services, but a grocery store right next to it. Not a lot of rooms, so it stays quiet and calm, and still has an open air bath accommodations (empty every time I used it!). Amazingly affordable for what you get, so make this your hotel too! I even booked it again, and already regret changing to the hotel I booked after this one.

A nice basic clean hotel. Rooms are tiny but clean. Surprised to find a little bath tub which was a bonus. Check out time is 10am which is ridiculously early since check in is strictly after 3pm. Surrounded by temple and mortuary which perhaps explained why the area was quiet. Walking distance to Senso-ji and shopping area which was nice… we enjoyed our stay 😊

Excellent hotel near Asakusa with open-air bath!
Stayed here for three nights during a solo trip during winter. The rooms are small as reviews suggest, but exactly as expected and in-line for the location and price in Tokyo. Front desk staff was great, rooms and bathrooms extremely clean with bidet toilets, and AC was good. I really enjoyed the open-air rotenburo (hot spring bath) at the top of the hotel! Timing for male and females rotate, and as a result, you need to go to the front desk to change your room card for the 11th floor card, but it's easy and worth it. Also a pity that impressive views of the SkyTree are blocked by the high walls, but I can understand that for privacy reasons. Only met one other person the 3 times I went to the hot bath after a long day out. Otherwise, walkable from Metro stations (about 10-15min if you don't mind walking, but perhaps not the best for people who can't walk as much), good value, right beside a small supermarket, and great views of the Tokyo SkyTree from the main road. Nearest tourist areas are Ueno and Asakusa. Front desk also helped hold my Amazon packages I delivered to the hotel, and also allows baggage storage for pre-check-in / post-check-out. Highly recommended!
Hot open-air bath at the roof! Perfect after a long day.
You need to be very very tall to be able to easily see the Tokyo SkyTree from the hot spring bath though.

Struttura nuova, buon hotel, stanza molto bella. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima posizione, vicino al tempio di Asakusa. Unica pecca, sulla prenotazione il check-out era segnalato alle ore 11, mentre in hotel era segnato alle ore 10, con eventuale addebito ogni ora successiva. Nota dolente nel nostro caso, che avevamo il check-out il primo Gennaio. Comunque lo consiglierei per un soggiorno a Tokyo.
