"We had an excellent stay at Nohga Hotel Ueno. The location is unmatched. Just a short walk from Ueno Station, which made getting around Tokyo incredibly convenient. It was easy to hop on the JR lines or the subway, and the neighborhood itself has a lot to offer, from great restaurants and cafés to Ueno Park and several museums nearby."

"Lovely modern hotel in a convenient location. Short distance from Ueno station or a very short walk to Inaricho station which is on the Ginza line. We had the Japanese room; really clean, roomy, and excellent shower in a wet room. Staff are super friendly and there’s a big selection of items that guests can borrow including rice cooker and toastie machine. Also games for hire at no cost. Would totally stay in this hotel again. "

"Excellent landing spot for our family of four on our first trip to Tokyo. Just the right amount of cooking supplies for breakfast in the room. This is in a quiet area of Ueno and very walkable to transit and small grocery shops nearby. Ueno Park was a great chill way to start getting acclimated to Tokyo. "

"Lots of amenities and staff were very helpful with any questions. Hotel location was also great, very close to multiple stations- max about 10-15 minutes to Ueno station, ueno-hirokoji station being right around the corner etc. Plenty of food too including all the convenience stores- 7/11, family mart & lawson, with ameyoko market being nearby and nakamise shopping st just a few train stops away! I could go on and on but in a nutshell location is very good - you’d really like it!"

"Rooms was very modern and clean and larger than some other hotels in Japan. Onsen was nice, both outdoor and indoor options. Location is fantastic, lots of shopping ans food in a 5 min walk, also very good transit connections especially for Narita airport. Be aware only one elevator in building so sometimes a bit of a wait."
