Service is really good. The inn is small and cosy with unlimited tea and coffee for guests. I really like the Japanese decor in the inn. The only downside is there is no noise proofing so you will hear every noise anyone makes. If you don't intend to sleep in, then it's not an issue. Nearby is the morihan tea square, a must - experience.

Staffs there are pleasant and good in English. The hotel gave us a local feeling with the use of tatamis design. Great choice to be away from the hustling and bustling city center and walkable distance to Kyoto or Gojo subway stations.

Love the location and the aesthetics of this place. There were also complimentary tea and coffee for all guests in the afternoon till late. Loved the dashi soup provided. Second time staying here and will come back again!

Excellent stay. Near to train station and Kyoto main station. A supermarket and drug store right downstairs. Onsen was great especially after a long day walk to soothe aching calves and feet. Lounge provides some snacks and drinks, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day.

I loved this hotel for the fact that it has a filtered water dispenser which saved us money from buying mineral water from the 7-ll right opposite it.
The public bath was also well stocked with make up remover, face cleansing and bath toiletries.
Twin Beds were super single, and room size considered big.
My only grouse would be that the pillows were so flat and uncomfortable that even 2 couldnt make up for support

Quiet location that is walkable to Kyoto station. Very accessible yet away from the city noises. Room is much larger than anywhere we've stayed in Japan (we booked the superior King).
Walking distance to lots of eating places and recommend trying the local restaurants around the block if you're overwhelmed by theboptions at the train station.

Hotel is located at a convenient location, 5-10 mins walk from Kyoto station. The hotel price is pricey but it’s worth the value. Amenities were given but we hope there’s more than 1 bottle of water given.

Need more washing machine. We experience about 1 hour blackout on our last day in the middle of night. Emergency light is activated during blakcout so it is not totally pitched black.
Other than that, their staff are excellent and very helpful. Location is great, nearby shopping area and kiyomiu dera
