"Nice place "

"Really nice apartment, clean and has everything you need for 1 or more nights stay. We used it as a base for our trip to the Zoo. Whilst in Barrow, we found a little museum to entertain the kids (Dock Museum), a nice little walk along the promenade and then a lovely Italian for our evening meal (Salvanas). Can’t fault the apartment but the area does feel a little run down. There are buildings works opposite and at the side of the apartments, not noisy when we stayed but stinky as they were...

"Character old house set in a picturesque quiet location. family run and friendly, good breakfast. centrally located to make exploring the lakes easy. would stay here again. "

"Very welcoming, friendly, efficient, comfortable bed, good sized room, excellent breakfast options, accommodating (I needed an early breakfast), accessible for food shopping, plenty of restaurants etc nearby. A lovely 2 day stay."

"Right on the edge of Grasmere village, a maximum 10 minute walk. Suite was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Two pubs within walking distance, the best being the Travellers Rest, excellent food. One thing to note, no breakfast is included with this accommodation but you do get a discount at a good local 'cafe'."

"View was lovely the room was very clean everything we needed i had my 9 month old son with me the hotel provided a cot too very welcoming. We were there for a family funeral we had use of iron and board too also swimming pool. Nice peaceful area will be staying again . "
