"Lovely stay for a weekend, can imagine in the Summer how enjoyable it must be. Lots of animals to feed, check-in basket is super cute, attention to detail leaving us easter eggs (we went on Easter) in the property and by the hen eggs too! Can’t wait to return this time with friends and their kids."

"I did not expect the very nice small hotel as the Goswell. We where welcomed by the hotel housekeeper who explained everything that we needed to know and where we could store our luggage before leaving. Room was a good size as was the ensuite and both very clean. Thank you Goswell."

"Our stay at The Castle Hotel was a birthday celebration that family joined us for on the second day.It couldn’t have been better. We were given a little private dining room for our evening meal and the service was so warm but not intrusive. We enjoyed our first dinner with really good 4 juicy scallops. As we enjoyed them so much we ordered them again on the 2nd night but we only got 2 each and an onion bajee. Everything else was so perfect so we couldn’t complain! Thankyou everyone concerned...

"We were greeted warmly and in a very friendly way. Jay was engaging and was genuinely interested in what the children had to say about our trip. The room was clean and just right for us. Crossing the road in the morning for breakfast was a novelty rather than an inconvenience and, with the crossing right outside, very safe. The ladies making breakfast were lovely and friendly. The cooked breakfast was great and the coffee machine was a particular delight. The location of the hotel was right for...
