"Lovely hotel. The Viennese cafe is beautiful. The cafe and the bar are really good value for money, not the usual hiked up hotel prices. The corridors have a nice decor and the rooms are nice. I had a great view overlooking the garden and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque which was lit up nicely at night. Rooms have an extra bit of security when you go out - you get a standard key lock as well as digital card entry. "

"The hotel itself was good, but I was unhappy with how the reception staff treated me during check-in. I had booked two rooms for two adults and two children, aged 13 and 17. However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that I would need to pay extra for breakfast because the two children were considered adults based on their ages, which affected the pricing. "Right in the middle of old town, so location was great. Very close to touristy shopping. Reserved parking is available for 12,5 euro per day. Good luck finding any other place to park. Check in and out was great. Staff was cordial, helpful and English proficient. On site free breakfast was very good. Restaurants for other meals are everywhere. The room was very nice, comfortable and very clean. Elevator to 4th floor worked very well. Very nice place. I recommend it and will stay there again."

"The hotel has a huge thermal spa complex which was the reason we picked it. However, the hotel seems to be short of staff, not able to manage crowds of guests. Most disappointing was breakfast - lots of food choices in a dark overcrowded restaurant. Food was not presented nicely, pieces of cheese and salami looked as if they were thrown on the plate. "I can't say enough good things about this hotel! It's right in the middle of Sarajevo's historic old town, but tucked away enough that traffic noise isn't too much of a problem. When I walked in I told the lady at the desk, "I think I'm in the right place" and she said, "Yes you are, Erik." She already knew who I was. I asked about a cab to the airport for an early morning flight and she set up a ride with a member of the hotel's staff that was cheaper than a cab. (And she shared a bag of popcorn with me!) On the morning when I checked out, the hotel's internet was having problems and the worker couldn't run my credit card. So he took my information and turned on the coffee machine (four hours before they serve breakfast) so I could have a cappuccino while I waited for my ride to the airport. Amazing service! It's a boutique hotel with really nice, clean rooms. Mine had two skylights that could be shuttered remotely. The included breakfast was wonderful. You can walk from the hotel to all of the historic churches, mosques and museums. I recommend the cable car lifts up the mountain for incredible views. (Look for the abandoned bobsled tracks from the 1984 Winter Olympics.) When I think of Sarajevo, I only think about the wars in the 1990s but this city is so much more. The only possible negative is that the road outside the hotel is extremely busy and has very narrow sidewalks. And the motorists speed by. So be careful crossing the street."
