"We loved staying at The Blue Mansions. After spending a few days walking the streets of George Town, it was a pleasure to come back each day. The building and interior are stunning, and the service provided by the staff is first-class. It was a real treat to have our own Jacuzzi bath and to step outside with access to the pool. Had this hotel been anywhere else in the world, i am sure we would be paying triple the price, which is well outside of our range. We stayed in the 50's room with our 13-year-old; we had ample space, plenty of wardrobe space, and loved the private garden access at the back. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and looking after us."

"Overall stay experience as usual Thumb Up Few comment :since you said you going Green, why not 1. Change the bath towel to thin and micro fabric, can reduce washing and space 2. When room service for customer like me more than a days, why you throw away my tooth brush and paste, and wash the towel? 3. Should regularly inspect electric appliances in the room, my kettle is spoil "

"Everything was good except we picked the heritage loft and it was very hot on the first night then it was better the next two nights. Next time I will choose the lower floor. Bathroom was a bit difficult for older people. There were steps to walk down. "

"Nice rooms and great gym for a hotel that even has dry and steam saunas. Slightly farther from the main area, but a solid hotel. "

"We had a perfect 3 night stay at the Granite. The suite is an amazing big suite and beautifully decorated in traditional colours. The bed is super comfy and large. The location is perfect and walking distance to all the streets art and other attractions. The rooftop pool is making and great views over the city and the roof top bar, just tops it all. I can highly recommend hiring a tuk tuk bicycle ride at night. We had the best night with our rider taking us round the street art through little India upto the sea front. It really made our stay in Penang perfect. Go up the hill also, we spent over 5 hours up the hill and loved the walks and cooler air. Our only regret is we didn’t have longer in Penang. Thank you Granite hotel and Penang we will be back some day. "
