"I recently stayed at the hotel for two nights over the weekend, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The biggest issue was the noise. It honestly felt like trains were passing directly through our room, making it extremely difficult to sleep. We specifically asked at reception if it would be possible to move to a room on the opposite side, away from the railway lines, but this was not accommodated. Additionally, the hotel itself feels quite outdated and could really benefit from some refurbishment. The breakfast was also very limited and did not meet expectations. Overall, I was quite dissatisfied with the stay, mainly due to the noise and lack of comfort."

"Lovely hotel, always my first choice when staying in London. Fabulous food dinner and breakfast, cosy rooms and great amenities, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits,water all available in the Lux room. Would 100% recommend."

"Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Only downside was the streetlight right outside our room which lit the room overnight round the edges of the curtain! Also our room faced the street which meant being woken by the binmen at 4am on a Sunday morning!!"

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - ITS CLOSED AND THEY DIDN’T WARN ME - DROVE OVER THREE HOURS TO ARRIVE AT A HOTEL THAT CLEARLY HASNT BEEN OPERATIONAL FOR WEEKS. No emails or notifications from the owners/management. No one answering the phone calls I was making to them Yesterday to question why no one was there. Had to book a replacement hotel on the day I was meant to check-in and obviously paid through the nose. To top it all off, Expedia haven’t issued a refund because they want to speak to the hotel first…. They are going to be waiting a long time because they won’t get a response from anyone because they have upped and left! "

"We were greeted immediately as we entered the hotel. Staff were all friendly and very willing to help in any way. The room was very clean. Great shower, although there is a gap between shower screens which made the floor wet but solved when angled the shower away from the screen. Nice choice of Dove hand wash, shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast was buffet style and a good selection of hot drinks from the vending machine. Nice touch offering “grab and go bags”. On the slightly down side, some traffic noise so maybe ask for a room away from the front if a lighter sleeper. Quite a few takeaways around but the restaurants are just under a mile away. Tube stations too and a fair way away."
