"Great location and easy access to the old town. Staff very helpful and arranged our trishaw’s for us. Brilliant day out learning the history"

"Room is clean. Bed, pillows and bedsheets are high quality. Great location as well."

"This a hotel is a hidden gem! Beautiful boutique hotel. "

"Great place to stay with very friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast!"

"What a wonderful place! It’s clean, comfortable and very spacious, with beautiful architecture which reflects the best of the George Town heritage area. One of the very best homes I have stayed in on holiday, ever!"

"Good location close to the ferry and walking distance to restaurants. "

"This hotel is very well located in the heart of the World Heritage city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were good, with nice views, and the hotel features a rooftop bar and cafe, where breakfast is served, and where you can have a drink in the evening."

"My room wasn’t cleaned for 2days."

"Friendly staff greeted us and available 24 hours. Very nice people. The room and beds were comfortable but the bathroom had a lot of black mould that needs bleaching/removal. I also had to clean the toilet properly before using. Fantastic location for the street art trail, food, the jetty and public transport links. "

"The best hotel to stay in order to have great time in Penang Island"

"Excellent hotel in a historic building. Amenities are great and a bit quirky (see how they bring the luggage to the upstairs rooms). Staff is very nice. The Italian hotel on premise is Michelin listed."
