"Automatic check-in was straight forward. Got the code from the machine and went to the room. Room was spacious enough for our needs but 4 in the room would be tight. Supermarket and McDonalds were a 5 minute walk away but you will need a car or a taxi if you want to get anywhere else. Overall a pleasant stay."

"The property is a traditional French style former farm in a rural setting with lots of character. It has been very tastefully decorated and has a very high level of cleanliness. Jacotte and Elia go out of there way to ensure that their guests are happy. Breakfast was included and was extremely tasty, with home made preserves and fresh eggs from a local farm. This was our second visit having previously stayed in 2007. It was just as good as before."

"Not for everyone as the location is remote. Plan on renting a car to get there. Breathtaking views, clean air and a step back in time. Only stayed 1 night as part of a romp across France. Plan to go back and spend a few days to properly explore. And yes, it’s a real castle!"
