"Is my 2nd time back to this hotel after many years. The bed is so comfortable.(totally forget to ask the staff the brand if the bed if they sell it as well) I have a well rested sleep for 4nights. The hotel staff is attentive and make small talks to you, starting from Concierge where I order some cookies and send to hotel. To the check in/oyut staffs for their assistance. Even the cafe where I have breakfast daily greet me and remember my husband and myself. The cafe staff were attentive to my drinks order which I appreciate. The house keeping staff was attentive to my laundry service. The bellboy and the lady staff greet me everytime we had eye contact. I had a pleasant and great time staying at this hotel. Convenient locations. Perhaps some changes on the shower area as if for elderly it seems tough to climb in and out. Noise could be heard at level 26. I will be back again. Thank you so much "

"This was our first stay at the Okura Prestige Bangkok and overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highlights include seasonal decor. The theme was lavender and they extended this to their afternoon tea. The food was outstanding and the daily breakfast buffet could not be matched. The choices ranged from Thai classics and Japanese to Western fare. The quality and variety of fruit was unmatched. Lunches and dinners were also impressive with quality and service. The rooms are more spacious than usual in Bangkok and the hotel maintains a high level cleanness. The front desk and bell staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. Waitstaff is a bit more reserved but very professional. The pool is amazing, I do love black tile and the view is outstanding. The location is great for shopping and transpiration as it is right by the commuter trains. The covered walk ways were a life saver during the rainy season. However, you can also walk to many activities and sights around Bangkok. My only wish is for lighted make up mirrors in the bathroom. This is not an oversight by Okura, for some reason, they are just not provided in any hotels in Thailand. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location and I am looking forward to a return visit. "
