"CLOSE TO CRUISE PORT: RAVENNA I don't think a lot of people realize how close this is to Ravenna ship port. We walked it. It didn't take long at all. The cabs in this area are ridiculus in price $30 to $80 to go to cruise port for a 5 to 15 minute drive. When you walk from this hotel it will cost you a $1 per peson to ride the ferry across and then embark on your cruise! The hotel isn't fancy. The buffet breakfast included was nice. "This is a lovely inn, situated right in the centre of Ravenna. It is within walking distance to most of the major mosaics sites and is also close to Dante’s tomb. The room is itself was grand, with high wood-beamed ceilings, a stunning hand-blown glass chandelier, and restored 14th-century frescoes on the walls. The included breakfast was good and the staff were wonderful, very helpful and very professional. "

"Located by the port, across from the train station, and a block away from Theoderic’s Tomb the hotel offers easy access to a very walkable city. You are no more then 20ish minutes from the city centre and all of the sites it offers. Highly recommend the top floor suites which have amazing light in the morning."
