Had a staycation (as a local) at this wonderful and beautiful little inn. Lloyd's Inn consisted of roughly 30 rooms, with a set of different layouts based on the guest's needs. I got the two-storied Business Room, which was pretty huge for two of us. The room was minimally designed Scandinavian-ly with a tiny touch of Industrial feel (less is more!). The toilets were open concept but heavily protected by grills from external entry as well as shower curtains; it was indeed a unique experience!...

Service is great and efficient. The checkout staff noticed my dissatisfaction as I was waiting a tad bit long and gave me a box of chocolate upon checkout. Few things to note: AC is motion sensored, it can get hot at night when no motion is detected. Phone network is cut off as soon as you enter the room and am “forced” to use the hotel wifi instead. TV keeps turning off by itself when changing channels. Check in counter and concierge can have more staff during peak check in and check out hours....

I fell in love with the hotel once I saw the interior. Those lifts and the color tone of the hotel interior, the view upwards and downwards from my room! Reception staff were professional but not friendly...that was sad...room was old classic...could do wit some touch ups...swimming pool was so-so... very comfy bed! breakfast was nice...overall my 1 nite of freedom with my hubby without my two little monsters was great!
