"Staff were friendly. However, the building turned the ac off for the entire hotel following complaints from a few guests of being cold one day due to the weather. When asked about this, they said they can't turn on ac in select rooms, and instead gave us a fan for our room. Additionally housekeeping only came the first day of our 5 day stay. "

"The hotel was very pleasant. Check-in was smooth and the room was clean and spacious. However, upon check-in, the television was on with the Langham introduction addressing me as Mr. despite my booking being for a female guest. This was an unacceptable oversight. I lodged a complaint after the second night and the issue was rectified. Apart from the hotel, the pool was underwhelming and was also very crowded. The highlight was the room and the attractive entrance decorated for Easter."

"Breakfast banquet was lovely. Plenty of variety. Fresh and pleasant surrounds. Staff were helpful and informative. Bathroom products excellent. A welcome card and treat was in our room as we were celebrating a very special occasion. "

"I got offered both an early checkin and a late checkout. This made a significant difference to my experience and I am a very grateful customer. The location of the hotel would be hard to beat - it is right in the centre of everything. The hotel is so new that the bathrooms are sparkling and everything is just lovely. The room service meals were outstanding, and they arrived promptly and with the same quality I would expect if sitting in a restaurant. The room was super quiet and the blackout curtains really did the job. Loved the modern lighting switches and the beautiful bathroom tiles. They could make a couple of minor improvements in the speeds of bar service & housekeeping requests. I hated the AI assistant at the end of the phone, but the humans were all very responsive. I will definitely book this hotel again, but will request a courtyard or city view next time (my outlook was onto a derelict building & couldn’t even see the sky). "

"AC was fine and I could control it which was good because sometimes it was cold, so I could switch it off and on when it suited me "

"The shower appeared to have mould in the grout and around the floor tiles. The shower rose had very little flow and the hot water was not hot. "

"Clean and tidy in both rooms and common areas with some lovely decorations up for Easter. Buffet breakfast had a good selection available and the chef was friendly and also happy to also cook omelette for guests if requested. The lifts are painfully slow even though there are 2 banks of lifts - it’s like it needs to power on each time you press the button. "
