K Guest Stay Hotel-Myeongdong, South Korea. Is only 5 minutes walk from Myeongdong Night Street Market. It's kind a challenging to find the location in the map. Google map will not working properly in South Korea, you can use Naver Map and Kakao Taxi. The hotel and the room is clean. Small room but convenient

What I like is it's location and accessibility to transportation with train ,bus and taxi. The staffs are very hospitable and pleasant. The room rate is affordable when it comes to budgeting.

It's a guest house so nothing special. Better than a hostel. In fantastic area near subway station. Down side is self check in and check out so you don't have any contact with staff. Sheet was stained and towels were tiny.

Can't beat the location. Close from subway, bus stops, unique food experience, and shopping. Tiny room is the only negative thing I can complain about. But for dollar for dollar, I was very satisfied with all the things they had done for me. One of the staff member, Sarika was so great! She always went extra miles to make us feel comfortable.I will always recommend K stay guest house to low budget travelers.

Fabulous location and easy check in and check out. The location is seriously great. The room was old, mouldy, full of mosquitos and the walls were super thin. Staff was lovely and nice but again the rooms were super damp and full of mosquitos. Wouldn’t recommend and next time I’ll spend a few extra dollars for somewhere else.

Really worth the money, will stay again
The location is perfect, walking distance to major attractions of seoul. The front desk manager Kimball did his best to help fix some issues I mentioned, really appreciate that. The room is tiny but expected. The breakfast is ok too. Will stay again if come back.

Like: 1. The staffs are very friendly, kind and helpful. 2. Location is very strategic. 5-mins walking to MyeongDong street and subway station yet not too close until it was too noisy to have a good rest. Weak: 1. Space: Bathroom is relatively small. Even hard to stretch your arms when bathing! 2. Housekeeping service is only available for those who stays more than 3 days and you need to inform the staff 1 day before. It is fine not to do housekeeping everyday, but I would appreciate if there is housekeeping service automatically without the need to inform.

Lovely and accommodating staff. Location- near subway station. Easy to come and go. Easy to commute.The place is within shopping area, near mart to buy goodies to bring home, near to good restaurants when you want to eat late dinner and snacks. Very convenient to stay. Good enough for a solo traveller as it’s located in a convenient spot in Myeongdong. Staff are often not at the counter and there is no window (room is stuffy) too. Only gribe is cleanliness, could help with more housekeeping (they said only once in 3 days when requested) and i saw a roach on my shoe one of the days.

Inexpensive but suits our needs
RECEPTION: Nobody is there! I hate it when there are no receptionists to attend to the guest’s needs and questions. CHECK-IN: Smooth and late night check-in allowed. FOOD: Breakfast is served at 8-10am and repetitive food only: egg, bread, cheese, milk, juice, butter, jam, coffee, tea. LAUNDRY: I thought it was a self-service laundry but 1 bag is 5,000 won which isn’t a bad price. MINIMARTS & RESTAURANTS: Nearby and easy to find. SUBWAY: 2-minute walk. MYEONGDONG CENTRAL AREA: 3-min walk. ELEVATOR: Available but not strategically located because you still have to use a flight of stairs. MONEY CHANGER: Beside and across, don’t change at the airport they have better rates here. ROOM: Small with double bed but enough for our sleeping needs. If you need a family room ask for room 408 because it has more space. No windows in economy but has windows in deluxe. TOILET & BATH: Small and not separate from each other which is normal in this side of the world. AIRPORT BUS: 3-min walk.

Location-Superb! Accessible through either Myeongdong Station exit 9 and 10, near airport shuttle bus, near night market, convenience stores, mini marts and various retail establishments. Klook pick-up station for various activities was also within reach. Literally, everything is within walking distance. Room/Bed/T&B- We got the big family room with 1 double bed and 1 twin bunk beds. I found the mattress too hard for my liking. I had to sleep over the comforter. It would be be better if they had a thicker mattress topper. The room had ample space for our luggages and still had enough space for some movement. However, the bunk bed would creak if the top occupant moves. The toilet was quite small, only 1 occupant at a time and the glass was quite see through at some areas. The floor tiles could use a little updating. Others: The breakfast station was open from 8am to 10am with your basic fare of bread, jams and spread, boiled eggs and cheese. 2 kinds of juices, milk, coffee and tea were also included. They had 24/7 supply of coffee and tea which is appreciated. We had to skip some days because we had to leave early before 8 am. It would have been better if their breakfast starts at 6 am. But overall, quite satisfied with the simple breakfast. Their assistant Rika was very friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to leave our luggages after check-out. Value for your money!

Awesome place, clean and comfortable rooms with everything you'd need. Nice localization - near metro station, bus stations and only a few minutes walk to Myeongdong main street with shops. Very close to Namsan Tower - it's a must see! A lot of grocery shops, bars and cafes nearby. Simple breakfasts every morning. Helpful and super nice staff.

Cozy stay
Location is perfect and just short walking distance from the main street markets and malls. The guest house lobby area is very cosy and the host manager Kim Mark were very warm and welcoming. Great ample amenities with hot coffee grinded fresh from the machine, teabags and drinking water, complementary breakfast with hardboiled eggs. The room bathroom had strong supply of hot water and really good soap/shampoo (really nice smelling). Bathroom slippers were a nice touch to keep ur feet getting wet It helps that the hosts/managers were sort of always around at the check in counter/lobby to assist you or for a short chat

Firstly the hostel location is superb. Right next to the subway exit and it is directly across it would be the main area of Myeongdong with plenty of food/bars/shops etc. Mary and her team are very polite and really helpful, they were very nice to give us a free upgrade as well and let us keep our baggage with them a little longer as we had a later flight. They are very glad to be of help anytime, and they are always very friendly. The rooms are very cozy and warm. There are all the necessary amenities, shampoo, hair dryer and so on as well. Also there is a water dispenser machine, which was really nice as we always had a supply of fresh water. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a hostel in Myeongdong to stay here. Thanks so much for your kind hospitality! We will definitely be back here again!

Room is good size for a family, but breakfast is simple, not much to choose, only toast n some boiled egg. The area for breakfast was hot when we were there as the condition was not working. Only a few chairs, quite a small area. Wifi is not very good, very difficult to connect.

Lovely and accommodating staff- easy to talk to. Mark and Aaron handsome and approachable. Comfortable to talk to as they speak good english. Rika- lovely and very accommodating. We were not able to meet the other manager but we saw him (while going out from the guesthouse) and he smiled at us- looks nice too. Location- near subway station. Easy to come and go. Easy to commute.The place is within shopping area, near mart to buy goodies to bring home, near to good restaurants when you want to eat late dinner and snacks. Very convenient to stay. Room- very clean and comfortable. Air-conditioned. Not too small, not too big- Just enough for 4 people. They also have lockers if you want to keep something safe. Luggages can be left before and after you checked in ( within the day) Breakfast- jam was good. Coffee- available the whole day. Will definitely go back to this place. Recommendable place to stay!!!

Good budget hostel
It was a short trip and we stay there 3 days. The room is quite humid, and the smell and steam from the toilet is not easy to get rid of. There is a small high window, but if you open it, there may be some flies and mosquito coming in. The mattress is hard. Sound insulation of the room is poor, and you can easily hear from your neighbor. Good points - Good wifi, very good location, convenient store is just opposite, and all transport, restaurant, shopping and attractions are easily accessible. Roasted egg in the morning taste good, and unlimited coffee and drinking water supply. The staff are very nice and helpful. Overall, you pay what you get, worth the money.

Good location and comfortable for its price. The included breakfast is only two pieces of toast, so it's a good idea to have more to eat if you're planning a big day out in Seoul. Friendly staff.

Great stay, best service.
Great place to stay! Extremely convenient and excellent location, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle! The managers and caretakers were all very informative, friendly and helpful. Manager Lee was great to help us buy tickets for an art gallery we couldn't get because it was Korean. Be aware it may be very humid in the room when you initially go in but the air conditioning unit also dehumidifiers in minutes. Also be aware that they do not have large body towels available. Laundry service is 5000 won per load, and it is small so you may need to do two loads. Overall however we would still highly recommend and would stay with them again! Thank you
