The staff is great!! They all speak English well and are so nice and kind. They have healped us greatly and i have also seen them helping out a lot of other hostel-stayers as well.

The staff were very friendly and all spoke very good english. There were family rooms with a private bathroom. There is a bit of a hike to get to the hotel and to bring the luggage to the hostel but they make up for it woth excellent pricing and good information such as guides and transportation aids. Overall it was excellent and would stay with them again.

Property is very convenient & near to popular Myeong-dong shopping street. Given the price that we paid & in fact it's a hostel, it is consider a good accommodation option. The hostel staffs are friendly & the simple breakfast provided is much appreciated. Love the outdoor terrace & rooftop space. The street does get noisy & a tiny annoying as tourists especially youngsters cramming the streets with photos taking (for all their social medias). Perhaps because we were given a room facing the main street on 2nd floor.

second time staying at OYO Rooftop and we always enjoy our experience. It is very close to the metro, Myeongdong, bus stops, Seoul Tower, restaurants, and many more. The staff is very friendly and help in anyway possible. It was convenient to have breakfast every morning before we started our day. We look forward to booking a room the next time we visit Seoul.

Good value hotel that is centrally located. The rooftop is a nice extra and has lots of shops and restaurants nearby if you don't want to eat out. Staff were kind and spoke good English, breakfast was basic but was enough to keep us full for the day. Would happily stay here again.

We loved staying here! It was close to everything, so easy to walk everywhere or catch the train/bus. The best part of a hostel is meeting other lovely travellers. We had lots of great chats with other guests during the free breakfast. David behind the desk was the best, we miss him already! Great place to stay, very comfy and everything you need at a great price.

It was directly under the Namsan tower in a silent area. The breakfast was enjoyable and the rooftop was the most beautiful place. Every person working there was really friendly and helpful. There was hot water for cleaning the dishes. And the rooms were clean too.

Condition of the place is old and broken. Dirty with cat feces on the garden and rooftop terrace. Noisy due to rubbish pick ups at 11-12 midnight. Place has no elevator. Bathroom condition was horrendous!!! No flushing toilet paper, tub and tiles on wall were cracked. Water pressure in shower was trickling. Just a very horrible experience! The staff was very helpful though.

The staff is really great and the place is nice, the biggest issue personally was having to share the toilet and shower among three rooms (this is probably limited to the 4th floor rooms). Except the shower/toilet thing it was a really good experience.

First, this property has no elevator but Jason the receptionist assisted us in carrying our luggage to the 3rd floor. The property is okay as it lets you rest comfortably after a day from sight seeing. The space is just enough for our family. However, the sheets in the beds for some reason doesn't feel fresh and clean. The bathroom curtain has molds and was dirty. It would have been okay if the curtain was cleaner. The only provide shampoo and liquid soap which they don't really refill daily. The towels are small but they will provide you as much towels as your need. Daily housekeeping is done but the room doesn't feel and look fresh, maybe because the beddings doesn't smell clean. The best side of this property is that the reception guys are very nice and helpful especially Jason, Kim, John and Stephen. They can speak English and will try to help to accommodate whatever you need. We only had 1 chance to eat their free breakfast there but it was not bad and another bonus is that they will do your laundry for you with a fee of 10,000 KRW. We really appreciate Kim and John in helping us have our clothes washed even if it was getting late. We are normally out on tours from early morning until late and they tried to squeeze our laundry before the reception closes. They are not open 24 hours but they offer free coffee, tea and water dispenser for drinking water.
