This is my 2nd time staying at Stanford Hotel. This time around I stayed in a superior double room with my partner for 13 nights. The room was decent in size and spacious enough to have 2 large checked-in luggages and 1 medium luggage laid out and open at the same time. We had a total of 4 luggages and 2 backpacks. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Housekeeping is offered daily and they were exceptionally friendly, always greeting us and asking if we needed additional water bottles or anything else. I love that there is a filtered ice/water dispenser (hot and cold) stationed in each floor near the elevators. There is a microwave available to hotel guests located at the lobby and coin laundry on the 10th floor. Stanford Hotel is centrally located in Myeongdong near everything and anything. It is between two subway stations (Euljiro 1-green line and Myeongdong Station-blue line) which makes it easy traveling to other districts. It’s walking distance to the airport limousine bus stop (and lots of other bus stops locals used daily), to a lot of eateries/restaurants, convenience stores (CU and 7eleven), the Myeongdong night market, and lots of shopping centers. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Myeongdong or even Seoul in general.

Our stay here was lovely. Our first time in S. Korea and glad we chose this hotel. It made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Staffs are always ready to help both in person and via email. Easy access to and from airport. Airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Korean Folk Village stops right in front of the hotel. The Myeongdong Street Market is also right in front of it. Lot of restaurants and lot of attraction in walking distance. You can't ask for a better location. Was traveling with a family of 4 and the room was a good size. Had 3 chairs, one big table and one side table. Hotel has 24 hr. coin laundry service. We definitely would stay here again if we go back to S. Korea.

The staff was accomidating and welcoming. The breakfast buffett was great with plenty of western and Korean options to choose from. The room was a corner room on the 17th floor, very clean and quiet and the view was perfect.

It’s a good choice of stay during my family trip of 11. Convenient location for shopping, walking distance to train station and also airport pick up point make this hotel our favourite choice. It is a family room of 4 booked for this trip.

Great hotel on the edge of Myeongdong - two minutes walk to the main shopping/food street and two minutes to Euljiro 1 (il) Ga station. Lots of food options in the area, no shortage of things to do and see nearby. The room was good, exactly what we needed. Really clean and good size. One thing to note: The check in desk is on the 9th Floor, you have to take the lift under the escalator in the walkway behind the Apple Store to get there. The staff honestly were so friendly when we checked in, complimenting the pronunciation of my (somewhat limited) Korean, and helping us with the baggage we'd sent from another hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location is really good, just walk down and there is night market with all the shopping. Very near to train as well, from airport recommended to take a bus instead due to the number of stairs in Korea. Not all the staff are fluent in English, so I rated the service average. Overall, a good stay in terms of the location. Nothing fancy within the hotel itself.

The location of hotel is excellent for shopping and dining. My room was a bit small and small windows with no views - had to close the blinds because it was close to the next building. The breakfast was okay

The Stanford Myeongdong far exceeded my expectations. Perfect location for the night market, shopping, & all transportation. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think if the Stanford is the staff. They were all genuinely friendly and went above & beyond whenever I had a request or question. Would definitely try to book there on my next stay!

The Stanford Hotel is a great location. It is walking distance to shopping malls, restaurants, subways and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. I usually stay here during my short trips.

Apart from the good location, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. They even ask money for any extra pillow you need. Poor breakfast at Western standards.

Hotel is conveniently located at the end of Myeongdong shopping street. Many eateries nearby. Opp Lotte dept store. Within 3mins walk to nearest subway Line 2 euljiro-1. Room is clean and considerably spacious. Basic amenities like shampoo etc provided but not toothbrush

We stayed 11 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young kids at a family room. It comes with 2 double beds. The bed can be quite squeezy to sleep 2 adults comfortably, so each adult slept with a child to have more space. The closet space is quite limited, with 4 jackets during winter, it is almost full and there is not enough hangers for all 4 of us. We bought 8 hangers at Daiso for just 1,000 won to use it there. Overall the hotel is comfortable and clean and service staff is friendly and helpful (booked taxis for us). Breakfast is good, although we ate for 11 mornings, we are still not bored. Always looking forward to what pasta/spagetti/udon of the day they will be serving. Location is excellent. Myeongdong shopping/food street is just a min away. Subway station minutes away too. We will stay here again.
