Bad location
The property is in the middle of nowhere, it is 30 minutes by shuttle to the airport, not 3 km as stated at the introduction. The closest MTR station is 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Not Convience.

We were happy to find a hotel with loft rooms. It gave our teenagers their own bedroom and bathroom while still being in the same hotel room as us.

Find a better place if you can
Typical chain hotel. The quality of service could be improved. Charges 100 yuan deposit to rent an umbrella. Charges 500 yuan as a deposit for the room. I took the hotel 1 month and a reminder call to refund the deposit.

We stayed there because of the proximity to Disneyland - not much around the immediate area so you are forced to eat at the hotel and the menu is very limited and not great. Food/beverages were often luke warm or cold, kids wouldn't even eat some of the plain things. Needs major improvement in the restaurant. Loft rooms are great however you can book one type of room and be given less without explanation!

Excellent hotel, slightly out of the way location
Excellent hotel for a three night stay. Room was very large and comfortable and breakfast was good. Only a few staff spoke English but everyone was helpful and friendly. Shuttle wasn't very useful with one morning and one evening trip to Disney, plus three airport trips per day but taxis were very reasonable at about Y100 from the airport and Y150 to downtown. You can also take the clean, efficient metro for Y5 (less than $1) and walk about 1.5km back from the station. Overall we had an excellent stay.

Truly awful breakfast. You would think that a hotel so close to the airport would have staff that spoke at least a sentence in English. Not here. Snack shop in the lobby was closed at inexplicable hours. On the whole an awful choice for a hotel.

wifi is terrible; shuttle is bad
Overall really good, we have stayed here 3 times and I only have minor complaints: the wifi is terrible they wont leave their scheduled early or late on their shuttle ( even if your the only one signed up for it) they are not accomodating when it comes to the shuttle at all. due to the language barrier, they do not respond at all with the cleaning or not cleaning of your room. I have only stayed on 1 floor in the hotel in all my trips. Floor 3 no matter what.

I was looking forward to a massage but was told by the girls working that I couldn’t have a massage because I have had previous surgery on my neck. So I asked if I could have foot massage which was granted. I was charged full price for a 30 minute massage by a distracted employee who kept looking at her cell phone. While my feet were soaking I heard the employees turn away another foreigner for a massage. The hotel had construction right next door at 6-7 am waking me up on both weekend days. I was charged twice for room service and couldn’t clear that up before I left because of the communication problem. The hotel is clean and comfortable and staff courteous.

The Ramada suited our family as after two flights from New Zealand we were keen to stay somewhere relatively close to the airport. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. There is not much to do in this location however. It was perfect and easy for a one night stop.

Great room for a family.
The room was great for our family. Had a separate bedroom upstairs for the kids. 2 bathrooms was nice as well. Great value for the price.

NO SHUTTLE, NO INTERNET
There is NO SHUTTLE to the airport (which is the only reason I booked this hotel)!! The manager offered no apologies and refused to cover the cost of my taxi which was $40 USD!! Also, internet didn't work most of the time.

My problem with this hotel is the fact that no one speaks English here. Everything is a hassle, from needing a Taxi to exchanging money. If you don’t speak Mandarin or Cantonese look at a different hotel. I was there three days and experience three days of frustration!

Alright for a night before a flight
Huge hotel in a not-very desirable area, but room was clean, service was good despite the hotel being a bit older. Only there for a night before a flight in the morning but was fine for what I needed.

It was different to communicate: only 1 staff member spoke English, but that was not an issue. Location of hotel was poor - seemed like it was in an industrial estate. Need a car or taxi to go anywhere

Hotel was fully booked due to a conference. Room was changed to one with two floors. 1st floor was a play area for children. Not impressed. Breakfast was good. Taxi drivers not honest. No change given. No facilities nearby. Generally staff were helpful.

Not worth it
Do not stay hear if possible. First, it took them about 15 minutes to check in because they could not find my reservation. Second, i booked the hotel near the airport but they did not have a shuttle in the morning and did not ever mention this.The service is not great and the condition of the hotel is old and smells. All this is fine except they charged $130 for the hotel. It is not even worth $60 in the US much less China. I have stayed many places in Shanghai and stayed at great places for the same amount if not cheaper

Tried calling ahead about the airport shuttle. No one spoke English. After I arrived in the evening I called and the person said I had to book ahead. The cab ride cost 65 RMB. I talked then into covering my breakfast. Nice hotel but not great for airport.

Ramada East hotel
Nice new hotel with large rooms that had 4 beds in one room on 2 floors. Other hotels, I would have to take 2 rooms. Staff did not speak much English but we managed. No shuttle bus service. Only 2 trips/day, 10 am and 4:45 pm. Otherwise you have to take a cab. Stayed there for a 12 hour layover and the hotel was clean, food was good, but the hotel had a problem finding my expedia reservation even though I had a paper copy of the reservation for them. After 15 minutes of calling around they found my reservation. The hotel has been open for 6 months and it`s a nice clean hotel. Not many taxi drivers know about this hotel. Good to catch up on sleep, eat, and a shower before a long 15 hour trip back to Canada.

Very disappointed not what the description said
I was on a 12 layover in Shanghai and was arriving in the just after midnight. I wanted a hotel close to the airport that offered a shuttle so I wouldn't have to be concerned about a long distance to the hotel and didn't want to be looking for transportation. When I left the airport there was no shuttle available as it was after hours (in the description it said 24 hour shuttle available) I was hounded by several scammers offering taxi rides to the hotel. Not knowing the language and thinking everyone is helpful I fell into the trap of paying someone way more than I should have to get to the hotel. Hotel is not close to the airport it is at least a 30 min drive. Once at the hotel I asked for the shuttle service in the morning and was told earliest one would be 11:45 and my flight was leaving at 12:00 pm so again no shuttle and had to pay taxi. I booked this hotel as it offered 4 people to a room with 4 twin beds. The room was nothing like that it was obviously for a family as it had 2 floors the bottom of which was a play area for children and the upstairs only contained 2 double beds. This was not suitable as I was with my one son and my other son and his girlfriend. My one adult son choose to sleep on the floor as he didn't want to share a bed with his mother which I understand. I tried to speak to the manager regarding the room and the shuttle service and they speak absolutely no English. Hotel was nice but wanted closer to airport, shuttle and 4 twin beds.
