"Great property. Very convenient located next to Umekoji Kyotonishi station. Has a Starbucks and Family Mart next to the hotel. Close access to a park and play ground which is relevant for family with young kids. Breakfast spread was quite elaborate with an option to get omelettes too (most of the hotels only serve scrambled eggs)."

"The staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel is very conveniently located right accross the road from Kyoto Station. The room was normal size for a Japanese room so no complaints. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"This place is absolutely incredible! First of all it’s beautiful, calm, and relaxing. It’s in a great location and an easy walk to cute shops and restaurants and marketplaces. The bus system is very fast, convenient and the trains and the train stations are much easier to understand than Shinjuku! You can definitely use this as a nice base to go deeper into Kyoto, where all the Matcha shops are and over to the Fushimi Inari Temple. The floor beneath the lobby has a beautiful spa- like bath and the hot water was amazing after walking 25,000 steps a day! The rooms are much bigger than others we found in Tokyo and the beds are super comfy. We definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again."

"This place was so well kept. It included a bunch of free items such as toothbrush, hairbrush, toothpaste, etc. It also included complementary drinks in the evenings, Lastly, the place is very clean!! Staff was also so friendly."

"The hotel location was perfect since it’s less than a 5 min walk from Kyoto’s main train station. The breakfast was wonderful with a perfect blend of traditional Japanese cuisine and American options. The milk bread is absolutely delicious! Our double room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the window faced extremely bright stairway lights that were on all night. The curtains didn’t block out the light on the sides which was right where our head lay on the bed. Aside from that the room and hotel was great. "
