Great location and access to the MRT. Hotel is a bit dated, but great for the price and the location. The Clarke Quay water area is 5 mins away - loads of bars and restaurants and boats in the evening

Great little hotel for the price. Don’t expect all the bells and whistles of a more expensive one or the space but for a one night stop over on a budget it is ideal. Just to note the beds are firm.

The service of the staff was really great. However, the room was very small (and no bottle of water was provided), and the bathroom was totally unusual because there was no division at all between the shower and the toilet and the vanity. Therefore, when you take a shower everything in the bathroom gets wet. Also, we had the breakfast included, and it was supposed to be a buffet breakfast according to my Hotels.com reservation. However, the breakfast was not a buffet, and it was very limited and poor. The hotel location is great, and again the staff was very nice and helpful. Because of the staff our stay was bearable.

Convenient location but not too busy. Staff service at the breakfast was not good but it is provided by a seperate restaurant next door. The breakfast did not meet the usual Ibis standard and not worth the money. The staff appears to hate her job and was very mean. We didn't feel welcome and could not enjoy our breakfast time as we used to have when staying with Ibis hotels. Ibis, please be nice to your staff as they are the face of your hotel image.

Ideal location
Great location, short walk to Clarke and Boat quays. MRT station very close. China town a few blocks. Staff are very nice and helpful. Small fridge in the room was a nice touch. Roof top pool was nice to cool off. Although the room is small and the bed is a bit hard, I would recommend it. Can’t beat it for the price.

Arrived at the property and given a room with no window. Nowhere on my confirmation or in room info on Expedia did it state the room had no window. I asked the staff about this, they said the room booked was without a window and only option was to upgrade. As my original room was like a prison cell I paid the $25 to upgrade to have window. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful. The upgraded room was clean and had a view of the pool. Bathroom is basically a small wet room and everything gets soaked when you take a shower. Overall the place is ok and you get what you pay for, great location and only a few minutes walk to Clarke Quay MRT.

This was a great place to stay and I would happily stay there again. Clean, rooftop pool, close to everything, coffee shop on first floor and 7-11 next door. Simple, no frills accommodations but for the price, the value was excellent, and there's so much to see and do in SG, you probably won't be hanging out in your room much at all. Staff was friendly and helped call for cabs which arrived promptly. Highly recommend.

The room was small, cramped, and not what we paid for. The design of the bathroom and shower was 40 plus years out of date. Additionally, no bath mat was provides which meant that after showering we encountered a wet floor when using the toilet and or the hand basin. On arrival reception was unfriendly. On making the booking we were made fully aware of the check-in time and were assured that on our early arrival our luggage would be stored stored securely in a luggage storage room. On returning to check-in five hours later we found our luggage still sitting in reception. Next day our taxi driver taking us to the airport informed us that Budget Ibis Singapore had a reputation for being substandard!!

The staff were very welcoming. The room was not great. If I wasn’t just staying the night and out the next morning I would have asked to be moved. The room had no window or natural light. It smelt unaired. The power randomly cut out and I needed to put the card in and out to get the lights and air-con going again.

As the title says, this is a budget hotel. So, one doesn’t come here expecting much. Which is is good. It’s very basic. The rooms are tiny and don’t offer much. However, they’re very easy to stay in and quite clean. A few things needed repair, like a lamp and the shower head, and the AC worked but wouldn’t turn off at set temperatures, but again, knowing we chose a budget place, we just thought meh, and didn’t think about it again. For a “budget” place I do think it’s too pricey, buuuuuuut, Singapore is pricey, and it seems to fit within what things cost here. So, it’s nothing special, but nothing to avoid if trying to stay in the city with keeping costs down. Note, the bed is crazy hard. One of the hardest I’ve encountered. I prefer a bed too hard than too soft so it worked fine for us. But, if that’s an issue for you be aware.
