Check in time was 3:00 pm, but when we arrived at 7:30 pm, the wait for check in was long and both rooms were NOT ready.
We were first told that one of the rooms was ready and the other one will take 5-10 mins. However, when we asked the room number, we were told by the staff that the room number is not available although the room would be ready in 5-10 mins. We found it to be illogical but we were tired, so we simply dragged all our luggages to the room first. But, when we went up, housekeeper was still in the room, which was far from ready. So we went down, again, with our luggages, reported this and were told that the manager is looking into this, and they’d let us know what happened. We waited for a few minutes but did not want to wait further, so we told them we will leave for dinner first. When we were back, at around 10:30 pm, the other room was ready, but the manager did not know what happened. She then looked into it and told us that one room was ready while we checked in at 7:30 pm, which was not the case… She explained that they’re busy, and they cannot force their customers to check out on time. We are not sure how this is an acceptable explanation and it seems more like a problem of mismanagement, especially we did not arrive early, nor even on time for check in. We only arrived at the hotel after 7:30 pm. It was not a single person’s fault but the experience was terrible, nothing like a 4-star hotel or a hotel at all…
