Very noisy fan in room . Mattress on bed very uncomfortable, could feel the springs …Checked and found it was upside down. Turned mattress over, only slightly better, very hard. Pillows had stains. Bed moved on floor …needed to prop with suitcases against bed base to stop it moving when sitting up in bed. A better bed is needed, in fact I should have read reviews as other guests commented on uncomfortable beds. Management seems not to have taken any notice. Very few channels on television. Tea and coffee available but would have appreciated bottles of water. Very disappointed no breakfast. All in all a basic accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel if you need a good nights sleep! Staff pleasant and helpful .

The hotel is basic and economical for Singapore, if you are looking for a bit more it may worth paying the extra. The room was compact and the bed ok. Kettle provided with 1 coffee sachet each! They kept our bags all day as we had an evening flight. The pool area looked nice though we didn't use it. The area is great as it is next to the river, loads of restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

They charged almost full day rate to check in early. They had a phone in the room but nothing advising what number to dial for reception or room service etc etc. overall I wasn’t impressed at all.

Arrived early not helpful wanted $200 Aus to check in earlier! Once in tiny room small bed hard has a rock ! Not even a glass to drink out of !And the towels were disgusting! Suppose it did have pool to cool off ! But wouldn’t stay there again !

Slow, poor service from grumpy front desk associates. Hotel was always spartan but is now really beat up and in need of renovation. The mattresses need to be replaced.

It would be nice if the front counter receptionists are more welcoming, pleasant, polite, and friendly. I am a tourist from a friendly country, and seeing a face at the reception with a blank, unhappy face makes me feel unwelcome. This is something Singapore needs to improve. It looks as if they are not happy working there. Also, charging an additional fee for early check-in is something I have never come across anywhere else in my years of travel. This is something the management to look into to change this policy.

Great location and walking distance from boat/clark quay. For a short stay, this offers good value for money, though would be tough for more than a few nights. Room/bathroom v small. Mattess incredibly firm, like harder than a couch.

The area was convenient to restaurants in the evening. Finding a place for breakfast was a hike. The room was small but efficient. Bed was pretty hard. Room was very clean. Close to MRT which was easy to use with a tourist pass.

First of all, the location is very good and the staff were friendly. I didn't know requesting for extra the guest have to go down to collect. This is my first. The room was so odd shaped, the tv was so small and the worse is the toilet. It's so cramped. The carpark was so filthy and the leakages on the walls was so apparent. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Property is poor condition as I as to go and down so many times for my room door rock system was broken then can’t go into the room by myself. Every time I have to ask a staff to accompany with me to open the door. However staff at reception desk is quite helpful, kind and friendly, so I still have satisfied with them.

This is a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury. That being said, it is a great location, and well-kept. Certainly great value for money.

Where do I start. The room was smaller than a cruise ship cabin....I'm not kidding! Bathroom was the same. No face cloths or hand towels. We had to use full size bath towels to take a shower.....WOW! The bed was the hardest mattress I've EVER slept on. We complained and they brought us a thick blanket to put on top of the mattress. They dropped it off and left, leaving us to dismantle and reassemble the beddings. Hotel is in need of TLC. Paint missing, older furnishings, weak wi-fi and no amenities. I rated it 3 stars because of the location. That was great.

More attention to room conditions, attentive to guests, make customers more welcomed. Be warm to guests. 15 years visiting annually, all hotels 3/4 stars. This one unlikely to visit again.
