"We stayed 3 nights March 2024 and it was absolutely fabulous! Our hostess made us very welcome, all spotlessly clean, fab breakfast and rolls to takeaway for lunchtime. It's a great location to pay your respects at the WW1 war graves and to visit the museums. Ypres is a wonderful town with excellent local restaurants, chocolate shops and obviously the Menin Bridge with the 8pm "Last Post" every evening. It was a shame that the bridge is currently covered for renovations but this didn't detract...

"The "shared common area" with 7 private rooms is a great set up. The property is beautiful, and the place is very well stocked with everything you'll need. A great location for a larger group to book the entire venue. We plan to return with a group for Ronde van Vlaanderen. "

There is tea and coffee provided and breakfast was just right. We had dinner in Nieppe one night and also in the Chaplin bar across in Belgium. There is a Hyper-U just by the highway if you are looking for bargains ahead of the ferry home. We cycled in to Lille along the canal which was very enjoyable. The park opposite is nice...

It has dual aspect windows looking out over the fields. Huge bathroom with jet tub and large shower. Nice amenties and well thought out. Coffee machine and kettle which is so helpful. "Change of ownership seems to have reduced the quality of service. The hob and pans would not work as they had not been cleaned properly to work with induction. The hairdryer had been removed from the bathroom - had to go to reception to request a loan and told to return to reception. "Great little place to stay! I found all the staff at the desk friendly and helpful. Not stayed in an apartment/hotel place before so I didn’t know what to expect. My room had everything I needed for my 7 night stay. Good selection of cutlery/crockery/pans etc., for those who want to make/heat food while staying. Didn’t have breakfast downstairs during my stay so cannot comment on that. Shower was great, had no problems with hot water. Bed was VERY comfortable, a quite firm king-size in my room...
