"In the 'real' Shanghai beneath the high-rise buildings, seeing people as they go about their day, back from main roads. AC was a it strong, especially in the bathroom. "It was such a wonderful surprise, the hotel is in the famous Suzhou traditional garden setting, right next to a park with an ancient tower and beautiful gardens. The rooms are luxuriously furnished with classic Chinese wooden decorations. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. rooms are very clean. The breakfast is outstanding I will go again anytime I go to the area, specially trying to reserve a room that faces the garden with impeccable views. Definitely the place to stay in the city"
