The location was convenient because it was close to the subway stations, convenience stores, shopping, food and etc. A bonus perk is the vending machine which spouts out a variety of drinks. The hotel itself is outdated in terms of modernism. The bathroom toilet and shower can be updated. Beware of the bathroom entry as there is a lip. I tripped a few times on it, so be careful.

Good location. Walking from shimbashi station. Nice and clean rooms. Excellent staff and service. Rooms a bit small but I heard they are small in most of the hotels in Tokyo!

I thought motel 6 was bad. Grand Ginza was worst. Location was not far from Shimbashi station. Besides that. Awful. Beds were hard. Pillows had some kind of beads in it. Bathroom was really small. Toilet was small also. Lighting was bad. Walls were yellow with low lighting. Carpets were really dirty. I would suggest to pay a little more, so you don't have to stress yourself out. I was going to cancel, but the surrounding hotels were fully booked

Go-to Hotel in Tokyo
I love the Ginza Grand Hotel. It is a very close to Shimbashi Station and is surrounded by many shops and restaurants. If you are arriving or departing from Haneda it is so convenient to get to and from. The rooms are smallish but you expect that in Japan. My only criticism is that the heating cannot be turned down enough to keep the room cold at night. I am a hot sleeper and if I am on a lower floor of the hotel opening the window results in street noise. The hotel could solve that problem easily by providing thinner bed coverings such as a cotton blanket instead of thick comforters. That criticism should in no way stop you from booking this little gem of a hotel.

A well-maintained hotel near Shimbashi station. My room was slightly small but had relatively comfy beds and tea-making facilities. The bathroom was a bit outdated but all the toiletries were there. A good location as it was near the station and the whole area was walkable. Reception were attentive and helpful too!

This property is very convenient for travel. Ginza is a great location and pretty central to areas that you would want to visit. The hotel itself is old. The staff is great but the accommodations are outdated and I didn't feel clean. There's dusts in the corners, the wallpaper is peeling, the rooms are dim, the bathroom is old and super outdated, and the carpet looks like it's been through some things. I most likely will not stay here again.

Older but still classy. Great location
It was a nice hotel in a city where people mostly dress business and classy. It is an older hotel but still classy. The beds were comfortable. The room would not allow the temperature to be set below 20.0 Celsius. Sleeping with just a sheet on actually turned out fine. The location was great. Very close to a train station and subway. Only a stop or so away from a Shinkansen Bullet Train station. The staff was very helpful except for Miss Saradata. I was in need of help with a billing issue and she was not willing to help. Another service desk employee went above and beyond and helped deme get the billing straightened out.

Not going to lie, the place is on the old side but it's clean and very close to both JR and Tokyo Metro stations (Shimbashi Station). The room we stayed in is roomy for 3 adult. The restroom fixture shows the age of the hotel. I will stay there again.

A very lively area; Lots of good places to shop & eat near by. The hotel is near major a subway line for easy travel.Would stay there again on next trip. The only thing I didn't like, breakfast was no included. A small dislike.

Best breakfast hotel
The location of this hotel is excellent for both business and leisure. The guest lounge can be used for business meetings and was very convenient. The breakfast has many high quality items on the menu, so much so that we did not need to have lunch for the duration of our stay.

Carpet had a large stain, desk had multiple points of minor damage, wallpaper had stains and was peeling, and in general room was not in good condition. Staff were not particularly helpy

The staff was not very helpful or friendly. There was only 1 Japanese woman who helped us willingly. The others half heartedly helped us. It was just a job for them.

First time staying there
It was great they left you alone if you had the do not disturb magnet up and when you had the clean room one on they did that as well, they were very nice ans i would definitely stay there again.

It’s not right to have to phone the front desk everyday to receive fresh towels when their own instructions say they will be automatically provided. Broken shower fixtures, very dirty carpet.
