"Amazing stop. Super comfortable beds and very clean. Very convenient to arrive there the night before our flight rather than show up the next morning and stressing about returning the rental car and checking in to the airport. We will be staying here every time we fly out of Vancouver without a doubt."

"Beautiful hotel - the gardens and the interiors are all beautiful! We had great weather while we were there over July 1 so we also experienced the great fireworks over the harbour . The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed cocktails and light snacks when we first arrived from the ferry. The hotel is well situated as we took the city bus (#70) from the ferry and it stopped in front. We also took the bus #75 to visit Butchard Gardens ($6 round trip!) It is on a great street for shopping and many different restaurants. We found fun places to watch the FIFA World Cup games. The hotel has a beautiful high tea which was popular while we were there. It is also expensive. There is a lovely high tea at the Butchard Gardens which is less expensive. Our room was small - private as it is towards the back of the hotel. The bathroom was especially small with little room to move around. It was a small square shower stall across from the toilet. Most upsetting was an unexpected small ledge down from the bathroom to where the bed and sofa bed were. It was so sudden that caught me by surprise - even in daylight."
