Farmstay in Vietnam

"There are countless boutique hotels in Hanoi's old quarter. Many look fashionable and inviting from the outside. I've stayed in quite a few of them. Only very few can match the experience I enjoyed in The Oriental Jade Hotel. First of all I have to mention its staff. From the general manager Brian, to the absolutely sweet reception girl Autumn, everyone has provided an outstanding service truly deserving its 5-star rating. The room was very comfortable with great bathroom featuring very large shower and well-appointed toiletries. The rooftop pool was simply outstanding, offering great views and just the right size to have a nice relaxing evening swim above the bustling old quarter. Breakfast was sumptuous with some unique small food creations that tasted very good. Overall this is a must stay hotel, as it offers an ideal location with lake and the church being literally a few steps away. Do yourself a favor and stay in this hidden gem!"

"La Vela was a wonderful stay, Tuan at reception was super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend staying here. Facilities are super clean and the buffet breakfast options are endless. "

"The Caravelle is a great hotel which has over the past few years been upgrading its rooms and continues to make enhancements. The staff are superb, the service is wonderful. The only shortcoming was that the buffet breakfast although generally great was very crowded and some items ran out and were not replaced. I was not given a VIP upgrade of room and actually had to pay $US20 per night for the upgraded room. I have stayed here many times and was disapointed by this."

"I like the hotel because of the location, the interior designs were very unique not like every other boutique hotels in Ha Noi. The employees and the manager were very friendly, respectful. I enjoyed the sunset at the rooftop bar , bartenders here made better drinks than other rooftop bars I tried in Ha Noi . I love the breakfast buffet, many foods choices. They always checked to make sure i don’t miss anything I need during the stay. Highly recommended this hotel for the quality, service and price ! Totally worth it . "
