Basic hotel. Not much for choice, but this seem d to be the better option in Yarraman. Bring your own pillow, hotel pillows are like sleeping on a bag of concrete.

They would have been more than happy to swap it for you.Perhaps if you were looking for 4 or 5 star accommodation you could have stayed elsewhere and paid the 4 or 5 star prices.We are in the process of renovating our quaint country Motel and hope to see you again so that can participate in the changes.Kind regards

The property has a microwave,toaster ( No bowls,utensils or plates to use these facilities. Only one glass in the fridge,no water. Only one spare pillow. No tissues in the tissue holder. Just little things that would the stay more pleasant.

Even though we had booked six months prior we were rung three weeks before and told they had over booked and couldn’t accomodate us. We have since been told this is not possible if booked through bookings.com They have offered a free night in the future but as we were attending a wedding this was a once of so is highly unlikely we will be able to take advantage of this.

Staff friendly and welcoming however the nights sleep ( or lack thereof ) due to very old and uncomfortable sagging mattress led to a terrible experience. Upon inspection in the morning , after around 2 hours sleep , it was discovered that the sagging , no turn mattress had already been turned upside down and we were sleeping on the hard underside and exposed to the hard steel frame edge and springs of the ancient and uncomfortable mattress . Not a great experience and one that caused us to consider packing up and driving home in the middle of the night , cancelling the rest of our long weekend . Luckily our stay elsewhere has made up for it . Will not stay here again .

However, we cannot fix a single issue without more information as to which room may have an issue. Quiet country town Yarramin, and Motel office was ready to receive guests, having the booking acknowledgement already printed. Undercover free parking space was appreciated. The room was spacious and had the bathroom well maintained. At first glance the room appeared quite clean, but found the fridge trim mouldy & food scraps, the microwave had rice & sauce from its last user splattered (obviously it hasn't been cleaned). The bed was nice, big and comfortable, although underneath had not been cleaned properly in a while (eg. Plastic wrapper, dust, crumbs etc) The vicinity has easy access to many activities, explorations and local eateries. The "Railtrail", Bunya Mtns NP , and Coomba Falls Waterhole made terrific visits.

We were riding the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and had a mechanical that delayed our arrival. Even though it was a little after hours the staff were understanding and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and only a short walk to the pub for dinner.
