"I would recommend a stay at Dedanau Hotel, especially if you can get a lake view room on the second floor. Beautiful to look out at the lake and mountains. "The hotel is nice and rustic. No TV, and nothing special about it, but it is nice, clean, quiet, and the staffs were friendly. That's all we were looking for after the hustle and bustle of Kuta. There are 3 nice and clean pools at the hotel which we used extensively. The beach is a pebble beach, so unless you are there for diving, there is nothing much you can do there. The waters are too murky for snorkeling or swimming. "
