This stunning property was just what i needed for a solo 3 day stay! My room was Devine, with beautiful views and the ocean so very crystal clear. The food in the beach bar is very expensive though, and my meals average for the price. I'd suggest the Malaysian restaurant... meals were fresh and hot! Activities were endless. but for me it was all about relaxing, ad that was achieved!
Tangalooma Island resort boasts one of the most beautiful beaches I have visited. Crystal clear waters, beautiful sandy beach, plenty of activities to keep everyone amused. However, what has impressed me the most is the wonderful friendly staff. Only thing that needs improvement is the selection of dining options. Pretty much limited to Asian or the pub meals.
The hotel was great, activities were excellent. The only down side was the BBQ - they over cooked the fish and it was tough, yes fish tough

I love everything about the resort except the room where we stay very noise, we can hear noise come from room on both sides and upstairs downstairs. Plumbing noise when people turn on water. Can’t really relax with the noise when we stay in the room.
We had many cockroaches (small sizes) even the hotel staff attempted to improve the situation with a common insect spray - just can not imagine what this will be during the hotter seasons. The room is full of sands on the floor - however this may be a feature here as the third large sand dune in the world. Personally i am not impressed.
The room did its job. We were not far away from the beach, activities or the restaurants. However the sink area was all mouldy and the shower water didn't work very well. It was a bit tricky to get the water warm, as the water would go cold as soon as you turn the cold water tap on. The floor seems dusty and dirty.
We absolutely loved our stay at Tangalooma
The view is amazing. We Would definitely go back!!
The only thing I would like to see change is the bed oh my it was like concrete which isn’t great when your in your 40’s with a few niggles here and there.
Also it would be great to have more of a selection at the cafe for wraps as there were none at all and smaller salad options when you don’t require a huge meal from the other food outlet. And more stock replacement as if I didn’t purchase a fruit salad at 9 am when getting my coffee sometimes there were none in the afternoon for my son. And nowhere else to purchase it!!!
