"I really enjoyed my stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel. The staff are the stars here without a doubt. Only thing I would say is there only seemed to be one chair in the seating area so not adequate for a twin room meant one of us was either in the hard desk chair or sat on the bed. The other issue was I don't think the rooms were soundproof as stated you could hear everything from the plumbing to the kids in the next room. Despite these small issues everythinh else was perfect clean & comfortable...

"Arrived late evening just in time for delicious meal of fresh salad starter followed by beef stroganoff, excellently presented, served, and was delicious. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and early morning shower was the best power shower I've experienced, an excellent start to the day, followed by an well presented and deliciously cooked full English breakfast. Couldn't ask for more!!"

"Exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, and a fabulous welcome. We stayed in Tufted Owl overlooking the High Street - a bit ‘rumbly’ if a big vehicle went past, but there’s very little traffic in town at night. The noise didn’t affect me at all. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was over at The Crown (we were given a breakfast card each) which was amazing. We’re definitely coming back. "

"I stayed here with one of my good friends for a weekend of walking and heritage visits. It was wonderfully quiet and remote, but quite near to lots of great parts of that area of Somerset, including being able to walk from the B&B across the hills to Montacute House. The owner couldn’t do enough for us, and the rooms were super clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. "Room and bathroom lovely and good location in town. We were told it would be noisy at night as it's over a cocktail bar and near a night club. Ear plugs were provided which we thought was a nice touch. If you are prepared to put up with the noise it's a good place to stay."

"We had a short break in this property, it was the ideal location for what we required. The rooms were a good size and clean. From the moment we stepped into the place we could relax and so glad that we chose to book the property."

Wookey & it's witch was wicked

The other issue was I don't think the rooms were soundproof as stated you could hear everything from the plumbing to the kids in the next room. Despite these small issues everythinh else was perfect clean & comfortable with a great breakfast to set you up for the day & a choice of evening meals including desserts. Also a lovely bar for drinks including teas & coffees."
