The property was very clean; but at this price point, small maintenance issues really stand out. Items such as paint peeling, wall cracks, and non functioning lights make the property look tired and unloved.

The place is very run down, dirty, dark. Doors to balcony didn't lock due to building moving. Sheet were clean, but blankets had dried food marks. They need washing. The springs in the bed keep jabbing me in different places every time i rolled over. Drains in the bathroom blocked. The seal around the bath was gone, so water will be leaking under the bath. Dishers dirty enough to stick together, gross. We will never stay there again.

Staff where very friendly and helpful, even though it wasn't completely wheelchair friendly in the bathrooms they helped us with providing a plastic chair for our daughter to shower on.

Tv, Stereo, Beds were all out dated no blue tooth. Bed in master bedroom had a crack in it so had to be careful not to break it . Bathrooms need a make over especially for 200 plus dollars a night . For the money I paid disappointing room . Good service at service desk nice pool close to beach was a positive.

Dear Anonymous Thank you for your feedback but as you have elected to write anonymously, how can we address any perceived issues. All TV's that we hire were purchased late last year and all have wireless, bluetooth and ethernet technology. They are Netflix capable and more along with foxtel. We do not supply a stereo in the apartment not not sure where that comment is coming from. If a bed has a crack in it, would like to know more details so we can rectify that. We have a mix or renovated and unrenovated apartments/bathrooms but I can assure you they are presented well and clean. Sorry if you feel that your expectations were not met but we can't rectify on anonymous reviews as we have no idea what apartment you were in. Regards Mari Court Resort

Great Stay in an Excellent Location
A very nice and spacious two bedroom apartment right in between the metro station (Florida Gardens) and the beach (Wharf Road Beach). Even with the facility being a little dated, everything was in proper working condition. Even with the beach so close, we enjoyed staying by the heated pool and the spa pool in the evenings. All in all, great service and would defiantly recommend staying!

The unit we had was tired, had broken bed head, leaking taps and very tired kitchen. It was functional, but owners need to spend some dollars to upgrade. Don't know what other the units are like or if in similar condition. The grounds and common areas were great.

The location of the resort is great close by to places we want to go. However, the conditions of the accommodation is outdated and the carpet is very old. Very poor renovation to the bathroom. The bed was not good. It has no springs and it sinks when you sleep on it. Bad for back. I had a soared back after sleeping in that bed. We arrived on the weekend and had no WiFi connection access given till Monday. After given access, we could not connect WiFi either as it keeps saying account expires or something.

Hello Alex We are systemically getting owners to renovate their apartments. They are individually appointed by the owners but all the beds are hotel grade mattresses and yes they all have springs. I checked and discovered that your apartment is actually one of the improved apartments so perhaps you were expecting 5 star accommodation for payment at 3.5 star price. WiFi is issued at check-in and when you checked in it was given to you. The WiFi works fantastically well here at Mari Court with nobody else having issues. Each guest is given 512mb /day complimentary so if you could not connect then it related to the fact that you had used more than your share or perhaps you were technically challenged with the insertion of the username and password. Sometimes, the issues relates to faulty owner equipment as well. The WiFi continues to work well here at Mari Court. Regards Mari Court Resort

The location is fab and proximity to beach and tram station. I liked being in a local suberb but close to all tourist action. The gardens were beautiful and the pool area well maintained.

The Location ,ease of access to apartment and parking are excellent ,I have stayed before and had no problems ,hence rebooking. the ensuite bathroom had poor water drainage which had affected the carpet at the doorway in the main bedroom , however this wasn't an issue. The TV and Fox did not work ,On Fri night I noted only one channel on Fox, no worries cant do much now ,I reported to reception on Sat morn and Steve came and had a look , we left for the day and came back in the afternoon and noted the television had been replaced but still did not work, My asian female partner approached the managers office to let them know and was inexplicably told to let the tv warm up by the lady in attendance, on her return she conveyed me this and we had a laugh because it was such an absurd statement, I said we haven't had to let the telly warm up since the old jobs in the 60s,anyway we weren't going to get anywhere so no telly. On my departure on Sun morning I placed the TV on the ensuite toilet which was symbolic of the service . I had not used this bathroom since the fri night due to drainage so it was dry . I asked for a refund via email due to not getting what I paid ,I thought all being reasonable a discount may have been offered , but no very disappointed with further dialogue from management ,and extremely disappointed that me partner was given that advise considering she has the same Foxtel and is familiar with its use

You stayed months ago. Now you provide a review????? I am sorry Peter but your comments are so off target and in accurate its not funny. We went out of our way to replace the TV and the Fox box and explained how it works. Pity you were challenged in your ability to operate the equipment. Twice we found the TV mounted in the bathroom which the technician suspected stopped working because it was placed in a steamy wet area. We had issues with you from the start, you just expected so much more than what you paid for. As it was you were in one of the beautifully renovated apartments. Typical, paid peanuts for 3.5 star accommodation and expected 5 to 6 star. You fail to mention all the good hings about the place and rate us as one. If we could rate guests, we give you a Zero. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, also very helpful. The room was extremly clean and pleasing to walk into. It was well put together and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would deffiently stay at Marie court again.

Ground floor unit. Front balcony opened on to public areas but kept private by lots of greenery. Unit had all the facilities we needed. Excellent location 1 block back from the beach.Close to public transport (tram) very happy with our stay. Will be back

We stayed in the 3 bed apartment which was completely different to what was pictured on the internet. Rooms were only just clean enough. The bathrooms were very outdated and felt unclean. There was a thick layer of mildew around one of the bathroom taps. The room we had seriously needs refreshing and refurbishing. I’m glad I got the room on special and didn’t pay full price or I’d be sorely disappointed. The ‘games room’ was in the car park basement which is very unsafe for children. The front reception area stunk of cigarette smoke the morning of check out. I don’t think we will stay here again or recommend to friends or family.

Dear Batman (Sorry to see you use a fictitious name) Thank you for your stay at Mari Court. As you have written under an alias, I have no way of knowing when and in what apartment you stayed. It would be nice for management and staff to be able to address these issues, if they are a concern, but without knowing the unit, we cannot do that. I must say, the majority of guests and reviewers do not concur with your assessment. You assessment of cleanliness relates to age. One cannot clean away old. The units are individually owned and individually furbished to the owners taste and budget. Knowing the apartments, I cannot concur with your assessment. All 3 bedroom apartments and very modestly priced and sleep up to 7 people. Not sure what you expected at such a ridiculously cheap price. I think you wanted 5 star accommodation at 3.5 star pricing. It is a non-smoking resort and no-one smokes in the Reception area which has just been newly renovated. You comment that reception smelt of smoke is false.
