"Great property as long as you don’t have to go around back where the crackheads are. No other way to put that. It’s not like they were threatening or anything but they did get in the way of the drive in regularly and my girlfriend didn’t feel overly safe as a result. Other than that and our washroom door looking like it was installed 10 years before the hotel was built and constantly closing when we didn’t want it to, the stay was great. I even feel petty mentioning these things but we’re supposed to be honest, right? None of this will stop me from staying there again though. The hotel bar was a good time and has a great beet salad. Valet is fast. Our view was great. And you can’t get better proximity in Hollywood. "

"There is a lot of old Hollywood history and a good central location on the Hollywood walk of fame. They have a very gorgeous retro glam lobby with hand painted ceiling and beautiful pool area with great cocktails! Love!"

"I came up to LA with my daughter for an appointment at CHLA which is just down the street (less than 15 minute walk). The hotel was just what we needed and more. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. The courtyard is adorable and so relaxing to see at night. The pool was great too. We have to come back each year, so this will definitely be our go-to place. My daughter especially loved the white birds of paradise outside our window-- we didn't realize they could get that tall!"
