There were some minor issues and inconsistent level of service but hotel staff were prompt to rectify them. Nice heritage building with warm and helpful staff, especially F&B manager Bagus, and Nancy at the Club Lounge. Hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and slightly off the shopping areas but very pleasant. Looking forward to return.

Inconvenient location. The description stated that it is supposed to be 3 mins drive from 2 shopping malls but hotel staff told us there were no shopping malls nearby at all!

Service was impeccable, breakfast and dinner buffet had lots of variety and were delicious, room was extremely clean and well-kept, and the rooftop bar offers an extraordinary view of the city. Very secure, always several personnel outside. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the location isn’t walkable to much, but it’s right on the train line, so easy to get to Gambir or Jakarta Kota in a matter of minutes.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff. They do all they can to make your stay a nice experience. It was good to get courtesy upgrade and be able to use the club food and drinks in the evenings.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views of the city from the roof top bar. Great at sunset. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet. The mattress, pillows and the blanket were excellent.

A great stay at the Hermitage
We had an amazing stay with impeccable service. Food was excellent, bed very comfortable, and the staff extremely friendly. What else would you want? I also loved the location near the antique market: real treasure trove there!

Average hotel, great food.
This Hotel would have been very grand in its 'hey day'. Although it has character it is also a little tired in parts. The roof top terrace was nice for sunset - but not easily accessible fro older or less physically able people. Food in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent.

A place of history.
Everything went great and the service was top notch, also the historical feeling of staying on this hotel is really good. The only problem is that the hotel is not so well known by taxi drivers (blue bird) so was always a challenge for them to find the hotel.

Beautiful, Colonial, Amazing Stay
The hotel was very beautiful and the staff were really friendly. I also appreciate the level of security that hotel had as well the location which were major pluses for me. The room was beautiful and very classical in design and furniture, which gave it more of a colonial vibe which I absolutely love. The really only negative I have is the small gym room which was a bummer. Despite this, I enjoyed the hotel throughly and would like to stay again in the future if possible.

Stunning Hermitage
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I would come back to Jakarta just to stay at The Hermitage. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient, the room beautiful and spotlessly clean, the breakfast spread elaborate and delicious, and the roof top bar breathtaking, especially at night.

Top Notch Hotel
Class. One of the best I have stayed in. The hotel has charm, we were upgraded on arrival. Extremely friendly staff, the room was beautiful and luxurious. The food excellent and a very good massage. I loved it.
