AVOID - I wish I had know this before I booked so please read carefully. We were so unhappy with our stay that we checked out a day early and stayed somewhere else. There were many problems; firstly, be warned that you are likely to be put in a room with no window, even when that’s not advertised. But much much worse, the walls are absolutely paper thin. We could literally hear people talking, snoring and spitting as if they were in the same room as us. The bathrooms must have been adjacent because that could be heard too. We would be kept up until the early hours by snoring or people talking on phones, then woken up at dawn by children crying and people showering and even vomiting! It was vile. We could hear the people in the room several doors down on the opposite side of the corridor. The breakfast is rubbish - three lukewarm and rubbery noodle/curry dishes and bread for toast, that’s it. The staff were okay but ineffectual; one night, an angry and aggressive guest was banging and kicking on doors and walls up and down the corridor and they did nothing, so we were stuck in our room at 2.30am terrified. No mention or apology in the morning. We were disappointed by the location and local streets; hounded and bothered by locals and forced on to the road as the pavements surrounding the hotel are not walkable. I do not understand where these good reviews are otherwise coming from - I know the pictures are promising but that’s where it ends. Expect a dark, unclean room.
