A stay at the Danesfield is service par excellence. Very comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. We had booked for two adults and a 12 year old child, but Hotels.com had not passed on full information and when we arrived there was no extra bed. It was late evening, but Toni, the manager, checked with staff and found a staff member who had a folding bed which could be used so it was all sorted out very satisfactorily and politely, with free drinks afterwards to apologise for the confusion.

Very impressive grounds and friendly and excellent service. Great facilities and good food. However no aircondition bedrooms are let down on hot summer nights. Fans are not good enough to ensure comfortable ambience
