"This resort is conveniently located on the beach in downtown Playa which makes access to 5th Ave restaurants and shops a short walk. The property is beautiful and well maintained with a nice stretch of beach, multiple pools, restaurants and bars on site. The half board option provides breakfast and the option to choose lunch (which you can order on the beach) or dinner which is perfect if you like to explore local restaurants for dinner. The quality of the food and drinks is very good and the staff deserves a shout out for their fantastic service and attention to detail. Ishmael, Armando, Enrique, Manuel and the rest of the staff too many to name will make you feel at home and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. These guys work really hard and let you know that they appreciate you ‘re staying with them . I don’t typically write reviews but have stayed at this resort on many occasions and continue to return. From what we’ve seen it appeals to singles, couples, groups and families. When you experience the view of the crystal blue water while eating breakfast or the sunrise on the beach a few steps from your room you’ll be planning your return trip. "

"We had an amazing overall trip and the resort made it unforgettable. The room, overlooking the garden, was modern and very clean. The only thing we wish there were more of was hooks and/or a clothes rack to hang wet/damp clothes from. The food..outstanding! The buffet at Spice had everything you could imagine and was definitely satisfying to go to when you are famished. Plus it’s open almost 24 hours. But our hands down favourite place to eat was Asiana!! The salmon and sushi satisfied every craving we had for fish/seafood and the ginger ice cream was out of this world. Of course their other restaurants were also great and the fact that we got to see raccoons and cats roaming through Pelicanos made this our second favourite place to indulge in their tasty menu. The staff in the entire resort were very friendly, courteous and always there to help. Each member had a smile and always looked like they enjoyed being there. We want to give a special shout out to Benjamin from the entertainment staff. He was very friendly, was always happy to see us and the aqua-fit class he led was the best we’ve ever had!! He made us forget we were exercising by making it feel fun!! He even made us souvenir bracelets to take home. Hope to see him again the next time we’re there. The pool was nice. Very satisfying to go for a dip in the cool water on a hot day. And there were plenty of warm/sunny days. The pool, for the most part, was very clean and well maintained. Thank you Hyatt!!"

"Our first time to Mexico and this resort didn't disappoint! The staff were very kind, food was great. Many different restaurants to choose from, water park for the kids and tons of pools. Great ocean/beach access as well. Highly recommend!"
