We only stayed for 3-4 days. Location was good, right in front of the market and subway station.
The room was clean - building looked like it was renovated but they missed the carpets. It had a lot of black stains on them, which i assume are cigarette stains. We were told through our original check in experience survey that the hotel was going to address this issue with us directly. We were hoping they'd contact us and change our room or something but we never heard anything. I would have complained but we were only staying for a couple days and couldn't be bothered.
We stayed on the second floor, on Friday night we couldn't sleep because of the cigarette smell that was coming through the vents - it is most likely from the Bar/Karaoke that is in the basement of this hotel.
I think the hotel should implement additional security measures - at most hotels you need to tap your key pass in order to use the elevator but that is not the case here. I only mention this because on our first night, someone was banging on the neighbors door and ringing the door bell non stop for 20 minutes. I called the front desk and they were prompt to deal with this - not sure what the story was but if they had these security measures implemented, i would have felt a lot safer.
